For me its definitely th representative People usually rate online when they have had a marginally bad to super bad experience or a really good one. For me its definitely the case of the latter. I just purchased a 2014 Forester after doing a ton (possibly way more than necessary) research into types of vehicles and everything to do with the short list of cars. I test drove a short list of vehicles and converged on the Forester. I feel like this information is relevant because it informed the evaluation of my experience. I communicated and went in a bunch of Subaru dealerships before I settled on Marino's Fine Cars. (On a side note as I told Brian, I think the name doesn't serve the dealership well because at first I was confused of this was a bonafide Subaru dealership - which it is). What's good for those shopping around is that it houses Hyundai and Honda so you can shop around between the three makes very easily. By the time I got there I had already chosen the Subaru so I never took advantage of that and can't comment on the interaction between the respective dealers. I dealt exclusively with Brian Izdebski. He's a engaging, friendly and professional. I believe that different people work better with different dealers; its a matter of finding that works for you. In the context of selling cars Brian is not pushy or overbearing; mind you he still has a job to do. I personally had a great experience and am happy with the price and negotiations as well as the rest of the transaction; picking up the car, leaving my trade-in etc. So long and short of it is that I recommend the dealer and Brian to anyone who is buying a Subaru car. Serious failure with the car when the owners' manual suggests you do NOT drive a car if this particular issue occurs. Upon the recommendation from a former dealership I've dealt with,I call Marino. From suggests you do NOT drive a car if this particular issue occurs. Upon the recommendation from a former dealership I've dealt with,I call Marino. From the customer relations to John the service adviser / sales person according to the website if it's his surname,I was left wondering if the word "customer"meant something? Service department was ONE person on my first visit, where John who lacked interpersonal skills at best was present to deal with me.Funny thing,a service tech.who did a quick review of my serious failure was so personable! Since the car would need to stay over night to allow their tech.to take a day to diagnose, and repair the issue,I needed a loaner.John said there's a rental company he can have bring me a car,but there's no loaner for non Marino purchased cars. Fantastic,I am now driving a dangerous vehicle back home where I make some calls just out of curiousity. Contacted Richmond Hill Subaru, and Downtown Subaru to see if they offered loaners before setting ANY service appointment.Well, both dealerships didn't care if you bought a car from them, and if warranted, would give you a loaner! WHY wouldn't any dealership offer a loaner if a car's in warranty when service is the bread and butter of their business. A car is likely the second largest investment for many, be careful who you spend your time, and money with. From personal experience, their "mandate" isn't indoctrinated among the employees I've encountered : " Experience for yourself the difference a family-run business with a commitment to customer satisfaction can make" More
