Mark helped me in January to decide between the Impreza and the Crosstrek, he did not try to up-sell, he gave me very honest advice! The car I wanted (manual transmission) was somewhere in the pipeline, I knew I had to wait - this is what I wanted: to use the Forester for the balance of the winter. It was a no-hassle deal. When Subaru Canada in early March upped the cash rebate from $500 to $1,000 I was given the new higher amount - even though I had signed the contract. This tells me that the management is very smart, and honesty is their principle, as well. I can recommend the dealership, and Mark Margiotta in particular. The service department did well for me over the 10 years. First time that I went back to the same brand (my previous experience over 12 years with Nissan (a 1993 Pathfinder) was quite acceptable, but when the exhaust manifold went loose a 2nd time due to broken bolts I decided to leave that brand). My typical mileage is 12,000 km/yr. More

Marinos customers 5 years Have also felt that the service department is very good. No surprises, on time. Have never recommended excessive servicing unlike Barrie Suburu. Have also felt that the service department is very good. No surprises, on time. Have never recommended excessive servicing unlike Barrie Suburu. I travel 160 kms to get to Marinos because I trust them to do a good job. Like all dealerships I do find their hourly price is too high, but what can you do. More
correction: our sales rep was BRIAN IZDEBSKI not Chris Marino's Fine Cars is like a bunch of warm, lovely people who like to hang out and chat, and sell cars in their spare time! We spent the afternoon at Marino's Fine Cars is like a bunch of warm, lovely people who like to hang out and chat, and sell cars in their spare time! We spent the afternoon at the dealership yesterday and purchased a Forester with standard transmission. We were introduced to the owner of the dealership, the manager, the service manager, the financial manager, and everyone stopped what they were doing to spend a few moments with us. Our sales rep Brian Izdebski was over-the-top courteous and helpful in shepherding us through the whole process of buying the car and explaining its many features. He co-ordinated the different departments that participated in getting the financing arranged, the proper winter tires, the rust-proofing and detailing. We were able to make a personal connection with Salim who would be in charge of servicing our vehicle over the coming years, and with Mindy the person in charge of the financial arrangements who made the business end of buying the car comfortable and understandable. Her patience and good humour were much appreciated. This personal touch everywhere made our whole experience comfortable and easy, and having a personal connection with the people involved in caring for our car in the coming years makes us feel secure that we will be well looked after in the future. Brian made the sales experience memorable I purchased my first Subaru vehicle yesterday and must commend the excellent treatment received from Marino's Fine Cars. On a whim, my husband and I I purchased my first Subaru vehicle yesterday and must commend the excellent treatment received from Marino's Fine Cars. On a whim, my husband and I went to the dealership late in the evening just to see what a Forester looked like up close since I was considering buying one. Brian approached us casually and asked if we wanted any help. He offered us the keys and left us alone to check out the vehicle. He was adamant that we take our time and he'd answer any questions. He didn't come across as someone trying to push a sale but someone who could help us find out more about the vehicle. On our way home, I commented to my husband how Brian left a great impression because he was so friendly and not trying to talk us into buying something right away as many sales people do. I went into another Subaru dealership the following day (simply because it was close to my work and it had the model Forester I wanted to really see). Immediately, a salesman was overly eager to convince me I should make a purchase today. He was pushy and obnoxious. I contacted Brian the following day and asked if I could meet with him again that weekend regarding the Forester. He remembered my husband and I and we met up that Saturday. Our second meeting was even more enjoyable. Brian talks to you like a friend versus a salesman. He shares stories and relates to things you have in common with him. And he has a good sense of humour. His personality made me want to buy my vehicle from Marino's. I've dealt with several car dealerships in the past and have never felt this comfortable buying a vehicle (and this is my 5th vehicle purchase). Brian helped worked out a reasonable agreement. His manager, Francesco, came by and was also very friendly. His family was there which made the atmosphere in the dealership even more appealing. Francesco wasn't intimidating or pushy either. He came across as a sincerely kind man as well. When the "final" agreement was signed, I left there feeling really happy about my new vehicle and that I purchased it from such a genuinely nice dealership. With past vehicle purchases, I always felt like the salesman/dealership was deceitful in some way or tricked me into agreeing to less than I wanted. Marino's FIne Cars was a totally different experience. There ended up being a problem with the colour scheme I chose. When I contacted Brian about it, he was so apologetic and he and Francesco quickly made arrangements to resolve the issue. Brian always encouraged me to make sure I was happy with what I was ordering. He had said, "Buying a new car should be the most pleasant experience." He definitely made every effort to make it so. Most impressive, he always remembered and pronounced my name properly which very few people do. Our neighbours are considering buying a Subaru vehicle. I was be highly recommending they see Brian at Marino's Fine Cars. More
Brian Izdebski - Best Sales Rep Ever To Whom it May Concern, My experience with Marino's Fine Cars... from the beginning. I originally had bought a (new) 2011 Sonata from another deal To Whom it May Concern, My experience with Marino's Fine Cars... from the beginning. I originally had bought a (new) 2011 Sonata from another dealership and when I had moved to Etobicoke, I found it delightful that there was a service centre so close to me. I had my car in at Marinos for the service 4 pack - included new brake ect... Left the dealership just had problems. Went back, told them about it, said they wouldn't have time to work on it this week, being concerned, took my car into a service centre near my work. They said it seemed like xxxxxxx worked on my car and couldn't believe that it was done at a certified Hyundai dealership. That said, I went back to Marinos and asked if they would compensate me for the service charge, nothing happened, never went back... UNTIL! Years later (2014), I became interested in purchasing a Subaru. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, trade in my Sonata or just keep it. "What the heck", why not just go into the nearest Subaru and take one for a test drive. Went into Marino's, met Brian and he just had a very calming effect over the whole process. He figured out a way to make it work for me... He answered all my questions, even when I was unsure at 12:30 at night!!! We had built up a friendship and to me that is priceless! There was no xxxxxxxx / no hidden stuff / no pushiness, I had felt like I was invited into there (not team) but family at Marino's Subaru. So a few weeks ago, I left with my 2014 Outback blk/blk Limited 2.5 very happy. Since then, I still return to the dealership to say hi to my friends at Subaru! More
Brian was great to work with. He helped arrange a test drive for the Subaru 2010 Outback I wanted to see, even on his day off. And when I came in to show my wife the car he had all the information we need drive for the Subaru 2010 Outback I wanted to see, even on his day off. And when I came in to show my wife the car he had all the information we needed. My wife thought the car was great - but that the interior was a bit messy. When we made the deal, Brian promised to have it properly detailed. When I went to pick it up, it looked brand new. He is clearly a car enthusiast and had lots of advice for us. My wife and I buy and hold our cars for a long time. We wanted to get another Subaru because of its reliability. Brian helped us get the car we wanted at the price we wanted. Anyone looking for a Subaru in the GTA, I would recommend they contact Brian. More
