Experience Left A Bad Taste In Our Mouths My wife and I purchased a new Honda Fit and had a less then desirable experience. I will start by saying the experience dealing with our salesperson Scott Stephens was great. He allowed us to take the car for a test drive and then provided us with a great deal and was honest and genuine. Where the process broke down and the customer service level was inadequate was when we sat down with finance services coordinator Stella. She went over the financing and purchase of the car and we paid part of our down payment via our Visa be she never told us that we needed to bring a certified cheque for the balance or that both my wife and I need to be there to pick up the car. So when I showed up to pickup the car I was told I could not pay the balance with a personal cheque and that my wife needed to be there as well to sign the papers. This left me very disappointed and I was left to walk home as I was expecting to driving our new car home. I emailed Scott later that night to let him know my disappointment of the experience and he apologized and said management had been notified. We rescheduled our appointment to pick up the car a few days later and when we arrived there was no verbal apology by anyone at the dealership to the poor customer service from a few days earlier which again I was very disappointed at. We completed the finance transaction and got our insurance and Scott showed us a few things on the car. I thanked him and drove away with the new car. The bottom line is that the finance experience ruined our car buying experience and when there was no verbal apology the day we picked up the car just left us feeling like we got punched in the stomach. In lite of this poor customer service I will be bringing our new Honda Fit to another dealer for service moving forward. Thank You. More

The service staff was prompt, to the point and I was out of the service within the expected time. I have always supported this dealership, when i do purchase my next Honda it will be at this dealership and will be with Frank. I have never had better service anywhere I love going to Honda and will even sit there to get some work done while my car gets serviced. When I call there is always someone to talk to with no waiting, they give me great service for a fair price, I get a ride anywhere I want if I need it, their office is really nice to wait in and there is free wifi. I got a phone call advising me that they couldn't get one wheel nut off as it had been put on cross threaded the last time you rotated the tires. You provided me with a rental car at your cost. The next day I got another phone call to say that when the nut was drilled out the hub assembly was damaged and a new one would be in the following day. The next day I got another call to say that the rim had been damaged and was being sent out to be refinished. Another call, this time to tell me the rim couldn't be fixed in a timely manner and a new rim had been ordered. The next day the phone call said come and get your car, it's ready. When I took the rental car back to Enterprise they found a scrape, I had no knowledge of, on the front bumper and either I have to pay to get it fixed or use my insurance which has $300.00 deductible which I can't afford to pay. The service department performed their job well and Jonker Honda didn't hit the rental car, but I'm still possibly out of pocket up to $300.00 because it took them three days to fix their problems. If the wheel nut had been properly installed last time Jonker rotated my tires none of this would have happened and I wouldn't be writing this review. More

Byron Lavery listened closely to what I needed in a new car. There was very little pressure to purchase, and I felt that Byron was less an annoying "saleman" than someone who was intent on facilitating my needs. When I was frank and clear about the limits on my pocketbook, he worked hard to make sure the purchase wasn't beyond what I could spend (something so many people unfortunately do...). I also appreciated the help of Randy Pohl on the day I picked up the vehicle; Byron was not in that day, but Randy made sure that process went smoothly. The one small annoyance, and this is common across the dealership universe, was the pressure to buy extended warranties and other post-purchase add-ons. With a tiny bit of research from respected third-party organizations you can quickly discover these "extras" are unnecessary and costly. This isn't a criticism of Linda Ho in Finance; she was lovely to work with, and selling add-ons is her job :-) Thanks to all at Junker Honda! I love my new car!! More
