Horrible! Purchased a used Chevy Blazer from a private buyer. Previous buyer had done some suspension modifications that altered the ride characteristics of the Purchased a used Chevy Blazer from a private buyer. Previous buyer had done some suspension modifications that altered the ride characteristics of the vehicle. The front end torsion bars was raised to the max and the rear had an extra leaf spring. This led to my casters being off negative 2.5 degrees. If anyone ever had their casters off by such a huge negative margin, you would understand the steering and handling characteristics. At highway speeds your wheel will feel loose and you would have no connection with the road. With winds and high speeds, this can make a driver feel nervous or uncomfortable. As I travel far distances, I decided to take my vehicle in to Humberview Chevrolet, in hopes that they would be able to correct the issue. I brought it in on a Friday morning around 10. I told them about my steering issues and that I suspected the front and rear end was raised. A mechanic came out and told me that he could tell the vehicle was raised. I told him about the highway speed issue and that I wanted an alignment done on the vehicle and to adjust the ride height to factory specifications. The service advisor said they have to charge me an alignment fee and a ride height fee! Are you kidding me? Ride height is part of the alignment. To do an alignment you have to make adjustments and ride height effects the casters. Anyways, I authorized the work (I should have taken my business elsewhere once I heard that) and I get a call to pick up my vehicle close to closing hours in the evening. I asked the service lady if she had a print out of the alignment. They mechanics didn't even have a print out. I got into the dealership and they had to put the vehicle back on the hoist and set up the machines to give me a print out. The mechanic came out and I spoke to him directly as I saw the casters were at 0.2 on the left and -0.2 on the right. The correct specs should be 2.3-4.6. I asked him if they fixed the ride height. He said it was fine. I asked him if he took it for a test drive and he said he felt play in the steering wheel and that was a gear box and its normal with the age of the vehicle. HORRIBLE diagnostics. Right away I knew this technician had no idea of correcting the problem. Anyways I was charged for the service. Extremely disappointed, I took my business to another mechanic shop. The technician at the shop knew my vehicle well and just by looking at it, told me the ride height was not within spec. He put it on the machine and lowered the ride height to the proper specs these vehicles came in with and he got the casters to 1.2 degrees. He told me I would have to lower my rear end (remove the extra leaf spring added) so he can have more play with the casters to put it within spec. This took him a total of 45 minutes and I was only charged for an alignment. I told him of my experience at Humberview and he laughed at the fact the dealership would charge a separate fee to adjust ride height when it is part of aligning a vehicle. A customer service rep from Humberview called my Monday to ask about my experience. I voiced my concern. She spoke like she really cared *sarcasm* and said she would take this to the manager and he would call me directly in a day or two. Guess what, its been over a week. I directly contacted GM Canada and opened up a claim. I want my money back on the "alignment" and "ride height" charges they done because clearly nothing was done. My invoice diagnostics says in the comments that ride height was within spec. Tell me Humberview, how come the issue wasn't corrected and when I took it to another Mechanic they told me the ride height was not within spec? To anyone with a new or slightly older vehicle, reconsider where you take your business to. These guys really do not care. I regret wasting MY TIME and MY HARD EARNED MONEY with these people. Never again. More
Easygoing and professional-'14 Regal T I bought a used 2014 Regal for my wife last May. Andrew was very professional from the get go, there was no running around or pressure sales tactics. I bought a used 2014 Regal for my wife last May. Andrew was very professional from the get go, there was no running around or pressure sales tactics. I came there to buy a car and that is what I did. The whole transaction was done professionally and correctly. I do have to mention that after the car was sold I have found that a piece of interior trim is missing, gave Andrew a call and 3 days later the part was in. So that was a nice follow up considering how many dealers ignore their customers once the deal was done. I would recommend you ask for Andrew when you go there. More

Just another number. Humberview has become successful at the expense of knowing how to treat everyday customers. It is hard to find dealerships with good service and Humb Humberview has become successful at the expense of knowing how to treat everyday customers. It is hard to find dealerships with good service and Humberview is one of them. There was only one man who treated me like I existed and that was Greg, but everyone wants him and the rest of the staff could not care a less. I spent over $80,000 on my vehicle but apparently thats not enough!! The final straw was that I paid extra for an extended warranty but when it came due, I never received a friendly reminder and after 200km over, I had a repair that should have been covered, but the warranty had expired. That is no way to treat customers especially if you want them to return. I am looking for another car, and have read many reviews of different dealerships and to my dismay, this is a normal occurrence. They should all take lessons from Joe Gerrard who made his fortune from selling cars, and by treating his customers like they were important!!! More
