Confusion and communication problems. Went to Guelph Hyundai to look and probably purchase a Hyundai Ioniq Ultimate Hybrid vehicle. It was listed on the website as a used vehicle with 6000 Went to Guelph Hyundai to look and probably purchase a Hyundai Ioniq Ultimate Hybrid vehicle. It was listed on the website as a used vehicle with 6000 kms. The Ultimate turned out to be more important than I thought. Now comes the confusion and frustration with the dealership. Found the sales techniques to be muddled and confusing. Set a price with the sales person but then had to deal with a finance person for the loan. Found a rate for the loan but did not realize to get that rate had to buy the extended warranty. Went online to Hyundai Canada and plugged in the model I thought I was getting and found the price from Hyundai Canada was cheaper than Guelph Hyundai for the vehicle and extended warranty. The vehicle was not a Ultimate but a Luxury. Was told that in my conversation in purchasing the vehicle I said I didn't care what the model was. Big difference in Price for Luxury model and Ultimate model. I suggest all purchasers go online to Hyundai to ensure the price you pay is fair. It maybe better to purchase online and then go to the dealer to pick up. Also check the prices for extras such as extended warranties. Purchasing a car is still a hassle. I was disappointed with the dealer and their treatment of me as a customer. The vehicle was not ready for me at appointed pick up time. Still waiting for an item that I was promised. Disappointed with Hyundai for somehow having two prices for a vehicle. I like to think that going to a dealer is still relevant in this regard. Why doesn't Hyundai just sell all their vehicles on line? Probably first and last time for a Hyundai. Have to say that B.J. Hollinger stepped in and completed the sale process with grace and understanding. He listened to my complaints and tried to accommodate me as much as possible. I think he understands my frustration with this sale and dealership. More

Used Car Department From the positive and energetic and extremely helpful on line sales person I started with - Peri Jeffers, to the showroom sales person Jesse Campbell, From the positive and energetic and extremely helpful on line sales person I started with - Peri Jeffers, to the showroom sales person Jesse Campbell, to the Megan Spencer in finance, along with Steve May, the Used Car Sales Manager - everybody was amazing. They were open, honest and receptive to my concerns. Peri and I had most of the deal details worked out via email before I even set foot at the dealership. Jesse was up to date on the car's history and accompanied me on the test drive. Megan was very nice, conscientious and worked hard to improved my interest rate. Steve was a great guy and exceptionally accommodating to help close the deal. It was a great team effort, and they are a great team. I would recommend them and would not hesitate to go back. More
