Would have been higher except for poor handling and wasting my time. It was an oil change which was obviously finished in a reasonable time. After that I received the usual attempt to increase the main wasting my time. It was an oil change which was obviously finished in a reasonable time. After that I received the usual attempt to increase the maintenance on the vehicle. Declined as part of this visit. I had waited long enough and was not willing to wait longer. Service representative said was not urgent as part of his pitch. The it was to be 20 minutes to finish up the paper work. My car was parked outside. thirty minutes later I was summonsed to pay. Probably because I was visibly pacing. In any case I figured that the company time was more important than my time. Have not rated the service representative since he is not listed below in the rating section for the Service Department. More

After leaving and driving home I should have turned around and went back. Oil change & Winter tires were put on, car was shaking really bad while driving on the highway. Will be contacting the service around and went back. Oil change & Winter tires were put on, car was shaking really bad while driving on the highway. Will be contacting the service dept tomorrow to discuss. Was suppose to get a Roots Bag for this special and didn’t receive it either. Back the next day and they balanced the tires and explained why the car shook so badly. Gave me 10% discount on that service and also got the cooler bag. Car is fine now, maybe balancing wheels should be automatic when rotating or putting on winter tires. More
I'm editing my review because of how things have transpired since my original review. My 2018 Elantra had an issue with the dash temperature gauge. After some time, the dealer agreed to fix it. There was some miscommunication that led to my negative review. I have changed the review for Tyler, as he has, since the miscommunication, been easy to deal with. I have also given a rating for Chris as he has been very helpful. I can not, in good judgment give the dealership, or Hyundai in general a good rating, and I'll explain why. Today (November 10th, 2020) Tyler calls me and says they think they have fixed the problem (after having the car for over a month). Not a good start to the day. I call Chris and we have a discussion where he informs me that Hyundai will not authorize anything else unless then can replicate the issue (which they did, but only once). Hearing this Was very upsetting, and I get that Guelph Hyundai was not happy with this either, as evidently, Hyundai will not reimburse the dealer for the time spent working on the vehicle. That's why Hyundai gets a bad rating. As for the dealer... after driving away from the dealer, everything appears to be working fine. On my lunch break at work, I plug my phone into the USB port, and nothing. No connection, no charging. I bring the phone AND the cable into work and test them. They are working fine. I have worked in services and complaints departments in the past, and when you have a customer who is having a big issue, you make sure that everything is working perfectly before you give them their item back. I know the USB is an easy fix for the technicians, but why wasn't it tested before giving it back to me? More
