Business places are not what they use to be. It use to be that the customer was always right and they use to get treated with respect. Very friendly staff and good service. Waiting area is much nicer than other places. Price was a little more than other oil change companies, but better service is worth the price. Wait time was very long much nicer than other places. Price was a little more than other oil change companies, but better service is worth the price. Wait time was very long (almost 2 hours) considering amount of work done. Oil change should only take approx 1/2 hour. This brought my rating from great to just good. I will definitely come back though! More
Purchase experience has been decent so far. Mark was our sales rep and was very helpful, and pleasant enough to work with. Mark was engaged with another customer, but additional staff were sitting talking amongst themselves without any engagement at all. Could have been a bit more engaging and friendly on the front end. They were very pleasant once a purchase agreement had been reached, but not so engaging before that. Interested to see how the post-purchase experience is, as I so far feel just "ok" with the service, but not blown away. More

Recently I was into your service department to have my 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring checked. I was concerned my car had an issue with my heating coil as the heater was not warming up the car as quickly a 2009 Hyundai Elantra Touring checked. I was concerned my car had an issue with my heating coil as the heater was not warming up the car as quickly as it used to. I wanted to have it checked before my warranty was up. I received a call shortly after it went in, saying I would need to have the Radiator replaced - because it was cracked and leaking and there was absolutely no fluid in the rad - that it wasn’t even safe to drive home. This would be something I would have to have replaced immediately. He said it wouldn’t be a warranty because it was damaged from an accident, I had 4yrs ago. I questioned if I should have noticed leaking on my driveway. He said for sure it should have been leaking all over my driveway and this should have been a sign to me. However there have never been any signs of leakage on my driveway at work or at home. They still assured me that it was definitely cracked and needed to be replaced. Cost $ 654.oo and also they noticed I needed tires replaced…which I already had an appointment for the following day with another company. (But nice try on the up sell ? ) I asked to have the fluids topped up so I could take it home and think about what to do over the weekend as this was a Friday evening. My husband took it to our local mechanic Monday morning (for a second opinion) and he did a pressure test on the rad and full inspection under the hood. He determined the rad is in good condition - NO LEAK and NO DAMAGE!! However he asked where we have been getting regular oil changes and he said Economy- Lube, he advised us that they are under investigation for fraud and not performing proper oil and fluid changes, and in his estimation advised us that our fluids had not been topped up in a very long time and that was the only problem. Moral of the story, I will NOT be buying from Hyundia again! I have purchased my last 2 cars from Hyundia and am in the market for another new car very soon, as well as, my Son is finishing university and is looking at purchasing a new vehicle, he’ll not be looking at hyundia either. I feel extremely disappointed at the service department and feel like I have been taken advantage of. Had I not taken my car for a second opinion I would have been out $600 + and new rad that was not even necessary!! But I would never have known the difference!!! I will be telling everyone I know to NOT Deal with Hyundia in GUELPH! - Yvonne More

I do not like being presured into extra services I have not requested. I was told I needed 4 extra things done to my car which would have cost me an extra $500. When I went to get a second opinion about th not requested. I was told I needed 4 extra things done to my car which would have cost me an extra $500. When I went to get a second opinion about these things I was told they do not need to be done and the dealership was just trying to scam me out of money. For this reason I will NOT be returning to this dealership for future maintenance on my car UNLESS it's under warranty. I will take my business to a place I know I won't be scammed because I'm a girl More

We felt that the experience of dealing with Guelph Hyundai was very rewarding. We purchased our first ever brand new car from Guelph Hyundai in April of 2008. We have thoroughly enjoyed our Elantra o Hyundai was very rewarding. We purchased our first ever brand new car from Guelph Hyundai in April of 2008. We have thoroughly enjoyed our Elantra over the past five years. We were invited to a V.I.P. presentation and found that experience extremely pleasant. The staff was informative, respectful, friendly and very fair to deal with. ( we got an exceptional deal) We look forward to enjoying our 2013 Elantra GL as much as we have enjoyed our 2008!! More
