So, my tire pressure was going low on my front driver's side. I had the car for only a little over a month and I knew the tires were under warranty. When I first went in on the Monday (Sept 30th driver's side. I had the car for only a little over a month and I knew the tires were under warranty. When I first went in on the Monday (Sept 30th) I knew it was a long shot and I figured I'd just have to make an appointment. Upon walking in, Mark remembered me instantly. I felt very welcomed and he walked me over to meet John in service. Mark stayed with me to make sure everything was doing alright and handled properly. I felt very much like a VIP! I asked John if the service was going to cost me anything and he assured me it was all covered and just come in. On Wednesday, Oct 2; when my appointment was. I rushed in 10 minutes late but the service desk was still happy to take me and told me not to worry. Travis was the person who was dealing with my service. At first, he was very friendly and showed me where the customer service lounge was (which was nice to wait in), but upon showing me where it was - even though my little one was dressed in pink, he kept calling her a boy. WHICH I tried to brush off because I understand sometimes some people just... can't tell those kinds of things.... but he made a joke because she had no hair. Again... I tried not to take offence to it although it did bother me a bit. Mark came in shortly thereafter and made conversation. He heard my complaint and we lightly laughed it off. It was nice to have his reassurance and felt like he again, wanted to make sure everything was perfect for me. After waiting 30 minutes (not long at all) Travis comes in and tells me everything's ready. When I go to grab my keys and leave, Travis tells me they also did my oil change and that I was going to have to pay for it! I didn't want to argue but I was stunned that I wasn't even asked! He chimed in that I could pay with my coupon and John talked about funny stories about people with coupons... but it was definitely the icing on the cake for my visit. Made an okay visit go to really concerned in less than a minute. I mean, I knew that my service appointment was supposed to be late november (I believe the 28th) and I knew that I was at 6500km and would need to schedule one earlier instead... I just kept pushing it off because I didn't have time more or less then forgot about it. If someone came and asked me and said "Hey, we realize that you're due for your oil change, do you want us to go ahead with this?" I would have definitely said yes as I knew I had my coupons with me. What if my coupon book was at home? Why should I have to pay for a service that I didn't even ask for? What if I wanted to stretch out my oil changes to 7K instead of 6 just to save money? Although it's not advised, it should still be MY decision. What if I didn't want to use my coupon right away? What if this was for a tire fill, I already had used my coupon and I quite frankly did not have the money to pay? It wouldn't be fair! Now, my blood is kinda boiled but I came back in before I forgot so I could ask about winter tires.... and I felt like when I was commenting on that I usually do 100 on the country roads, Travis made another comment saying that I surely don't drive over 80 on a country road with children in the car. Which, I felt like I had to defend myself saying I didn't because I drive in the country when I'm on my way to school. So now, my experience with Travis is that he first insults my child, tells me I have to pay for something I never asked for, and now insulting my driving and potentially saying I'm an unsafe driver with my children. Yes, he was knowledgeable with the tires and everything, but I definitely was very disappointed. I only would refer this place because I am happy with the services that Mark has given me each time I am there but I am very nervous to bring my car back in to be serviced again! More

The service dept. is first rate and beyond that, they (particularly John McLuhan) go out of their way to clarify the bill, or provide suggestions for a better use of my car. For instance, I'm putting my Sonata Limited in storage for the winter and have received a detailed demonstration of how to not let the battery run down. Preceding the maintenance appointment I had informed John of my plans and he made sure the brakes were fully inspected and lubricated for the dormant period. More

He reviewed my needs with suggestions, gave me a quote and I left my car for servicing. The Courtesy Shuttle Driver, Amy Seftel drove me back to work. After one visit, she remembers who I am and where I work. Always friendly. When my car is ready for pickup I receive a call from John and he inquires if I need the Courtesy Shuttle Driver to pick me up. The costs for service are as quoted and seem reasonable. Very friendly and helpful service. The waiting room is a bit small, but other than that, it was all good. It was my first service on my new Hyundai Accent, so gave a good impression for the future.
