Purchase of 2015 Veloster Feb 18, 2014 by Ali Webber My experience was quite enjoyable with the Guelph Hyundai staff! The day I walked into the dealership, I was "only looking" but Mark McKane (and lat My experience was quite enjoyable with the Guelph Hyundai staff! The day I walked into the dealership, I was "only looking" but Mark McKane (and later Rys Evans, the Finance person) convinced me I should be buying a Veloster! Mark was expecting us and quickly we got down to business. Mark explained all the features of the Veloster and answered all questions with expertise and efficiency. If he didn't know the answer, he promptly returned with an answer. Mark's expertise, friendliness and listening skills made this sale possible. Then Rys Evans finalized the Sales Process with efficiency. The "pickup" day was smooth and efficient because Mark and Rys ensured it would be. Great job fellas! The only 'less than positive' remark I have is about the entire "process" of buying a car. It took way too long. We arrived at the dealership (not sure the evening now) at about 6:30 and didn't leave (with a Sales Agreement) until almost 10 pm. What took the time was the "back and forth" between sales point and managers for approval or info...and to me, this is not effective customer service. Yes numbers had to be crunched but the lengthy "process" has not improved much since I bought my first new car decades ago. Can the cumbersome Sales Process be expedited more quickly for customers whose time is also valuable? Overall though, I would buy from Hyundai again...great products and service!! I got many hours of enjoyment from my Elantra and now have a new sexy Veloster to have fun with!! Sincerely, Ali Webber More

I came in early from my schedule and they offered me a ride back home. Had a comfortable ride with Guelph Hyundai's Santa Fe and had a really nice and safe driver. Also, it didn't took so much time for them to finish my first maintenance check up so it was really good. I didn't pay anything for my first service, thanks for the Smart Buy Advantage booklet. Lastly, everyone in the dealership was really nice. Thank you Guelph Hyundai! More

The Westlake's love their Veloster Haven't bought a new car in over 20 years always went for used so we were a little nervous about talking to a "Salesman" but walked in and lucky for u Haven't bought a new car in over 20 years always went for used so we were a little nervous about talking to a "Salesman" but walked in and lucky for us Scott was available. He showed the vehicle we were insterested in and lets just say the rest is history as we signed up that day. The bank was being a bit difficult but in the end it all worked out. We look forward to buying from Guelph Hyundai again and particular Scott. He is extremely friendly, easy going and doesn't push anything on you nor do the Finance staff. I highly recommend you buy a vehicle from here and please for you ask for Scott. More
Poor communication and time management - never called to say my parts were in. They were more concerned about my survey being completed than my car. - said it would take 2 hrs for work t - never called to say my parts were in. They were more concerned about my survey being completed than my car. - said it would take 2 hrs for work to be done. so I booked it for 11 am therefore would be done before 3 pm and it wasn't ( it was 2pm and they hadn't even started) -I was offered a courtesy car but they failed to mention that you needed a credit card and be 25. With the bad communication between departments and the horrible time management I won't come back and I won't be coming here for oil changes either. My next car will be a Honda. More
