Pleasant experience I have purchased 2 vehicles from Gorruds in the last 14 months. I insisted that she come with me to experience "first hand" the sharks at car dealerships (I was a used car salesman once upon a time) and how to negotiate the right way. Well I must say car dealerships and car salesmen have come a long way or maybe it's Gorruds that makes the difference. I purchased my second car from them last week and again, no pressure, no sales talk, only professional friendly service. Ziggy is the guy! He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I much prefer the set-pricing policy nowadays, takes the pressure of everyone, but do your homework before going in, and be prepared to buy! Imran the finance guy did present the usual upsell items but again, no pressure. I took what I wanted and no more (I even changed my mind later on and it was removed no questions asked). A great experience! More

Lost $2k due to Improper Info provided by Salesman and other BE AWARE of the 3rd party warranty (First Canadian Insurance) that they sell with vehicles. They sell really good cars but be careful about the warran BE AWARE of the 3rd party warranty (First Canadian Insurance) that they sell with vehicles. They sell really good cars but be careful about the warranty Insurance. You don't get your money back once the warranty policy expires, If your car is totaled or you decide to sell your car before the policy expires. Any of the Information mentioned in this review was not disclosed by the Salesperson and/or Finance Manager. Their only concern was making commission by selling this 3rd party Insurance. I lost $2000 because of this. Before you buy the 3rd party Warranty, ask them about Guaranteed Rebate Conditions. Here is few conditions: 1) you have to have the ownership of the vehicle when the policy expires, If you sold your vehicle, you don't get any money back 2) If you car gets totaled before the policy expires, you don't get any money back because you don't have the ownership anymore. you will get some money back if your car kilometers is less than whatever mentioned in the policy. plus they will deduct any expenses incurred by FCP as the result of the claim. 3) you have to claim the Rebate within 90 days of expiration of your policy. If you exceed 90 days, you don't get any money back. More
