I had a very frustrating experience all around I had a great experience with my initial salesperson John when buying my car from Gorruds. But then I was sent to Moiz and everything went down from I had a great experience with my initial salesperson John when buying my car from Gorruds. But then I was sent to Moiz and everything went down from there. Moiz was sneaky in his selling tactics and he was useless in his role as “financial services manager”. I was sold an extra package that I had no idea what the total price was and he started trying to sell me an extended warranty without me even realizing it: he originally told me he was going to explain how my warranty works and then he started trying to sell me the extended warranty. Very sneaky. Moiz lied to me when he said he would work to get me the best interest rate for my financing. When I showed up to pickup my car he didn’t have anything ready for me and had a generic interest rate and I had to fight for a better one. Then he left and he got me a better on in about one minute even though he said he was “too busy” to do that for me before I arrived. I signed all the financial documentation and I left with my car. I was told a date that my payments would start for my loan and they didn’t start so I emailed Moiz and he told me not to worry then I waited another few days and nothing so I contacted him again and then he finally looked into it. So then he gives me a new day that my loan payments would start. Like what happened there? Did he forget to do a crucial step in filling out my loan paperwork, you know his job. I also had to track down my $1000 deposit that I made towards holding the car. I was never refunded this amount so I had to go through a long back and forth with Moiz to get this amount back. When I had the issue with the loan repayments I was really upset and I asked Moiz if it would affect my credit and he said no and now I’m seeing an issue on my credit report linked to that incident and I’m upset all over again. I also had a terrible experience with the Gorruds garage in which I took it in to my winter tires put on and then when I left my whole car smelled like chemicals. At first I thought that it was just the garage smell but it never got better. I took my car to another garage and that mechanic told me someone had removed the gas cap and not replaced it so there was oil leaking from my car and all over the engine. So when my car was brought it for tires why was someone touching the oil...?! Overall very dissatisfied with my experience. More
