no pleased reported about a droning sound when the SUV gets between 80 and 100 km. First the mechanic said it was just road noise and when i asked him to che reported about a droning sound when the SUV gets between 80 and 100 km. First the mechanic said it was just road noise and when i asked him to check again, he came back and agreed the noise was there and rotated the wheels. Noise still there so I brought the viehicle back in and this time the mechanic said there was a 'nic' in one of the tires which could be causing the noise. The guys at the front desk assured me the tires are safe. I asked which tire had the nic and they did't know. I then asked if they had any spare tires to try and prove their theory and they said they had none. They explained that my only option would be to buy 4 new tires. Seemed a bit excessive so i will look for some used tires to purchase and try out their theory. They then added that i should get another alignment if i get new tires. I went to the parts desk to get an idea of how much , i had to yell over another loud salesperson to someone about 10 feet away to get a price. The parts guys kept upselling me on tires before they even gave me a qoute. Emailed the dealership since i have a Diamond Kote warranty on my tires and they said they 'thought it should be covered but had to ask". then they sent another email saying it wasn;t covered. Glad i bought that. More
