I bought a new 2011 Forte automatic. I walked in with very specific requirements and Michael C. recommended the perfect vehicle for me. There was very minor haggling over price since it was within range very specific requirements and Michael C. recommended the perfect vehicle for me. The customer Service that we have received from Michael C has been great! He is always diligent in getting back to us and working for us, (the customer)!! He understands where his customers are coming from and if we are not happy about something, he will take it further and voice our converns to make them heard. he is down to earth and is very personable. FIRST OFF THIS DEALERSHIP HAS A HUGE ADVERTISEMENT ISSUE! THEIR WEBSITE STATES PRICES ARE PLUS LICENSING AND HST BUT WHEN YOU GO IN TO SEE THE CAR THEY ADD $399 ADMINISTRATION, $399 FOR NITRO & ETCH (WHAT TH THEIR WEBSITE STATES PRICES ARE PLUS LICENSING AND HST BUT WHEN YOU GO IN TO SEE THE CAR THEY ADD $399 ADMINISTRATION, $399 FOR NITRO & ETCH (WHAT THE HECK IS THAT AND HOW CAN YOU FATHOM CHARGING $399 FOR IT!?), PLUS YOUR CARPROOF $79, OH AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO CHARGE YOU $45 FOR GAS WHEN I BOUGHT A TRUCK AND IT CERTAINLY TAKES MORE THAN THAT. I CAME TO PICK UP MY TRUCK. ITS NOT PROPERLY CLEANED, THE LICENSING WASN'T DONE BECAUSE THE MINISTRY CLOSED? (WHY WAIT UNTIL THE DAY OF TO LICENSE IT, THEY HAD ALMOST TWO WEEKS) THE CAR STILL SMELLED LIKE SMOKE ALONG WITH ALMOST EVERY OTHER CAR I TEST DROVE. THEIR LOT IS PARKED TOO CLOSE TOGETHER. YOU CAN BARELY LOOK AT THEIR VEHICLES WITHOUT HAVING A SALES PERSON GET THE KEYS AND PULL IT OUT. THEN IT CAME TIME TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. I WAS AT THEIR USED LOT AND THEIR BATHROOMS ARE DISGUSTING. AS A WOMAN I WOULD NEVER USE SUCH FACILITIES. BOTH THE MEN AND WOMANS BATHROOMS SMELLED LIKE OUTHOUSES. THE WOMANS BATHROOM HAD A BROKEN FLUSHER THAT I ALMOST SLICED MY FINGER OPEN ON. THEY HAVE A WATER COOLER THAT NEVER SEEMS TO HAVE WATER IN IT, OR THERE IS WATER AND NO CUPS. THEY DON'T SEEM TO EVER SALT THEIR LOT. ITS VERY SLIPPERY. ALMOST BROKE MY BACK. NOW ON TO THE SO CALLED "CUSTOMER SERVICE". THE SALESMEN ALL SEEM YOUNG AND POLITE AT FIRST. BUT THEN THEY DONT RETURN YOUR CALLS. THEY DONT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAILS. THEY WONT GIVE YOU A DATE WHEN YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR CAR. THEN YOU GO TO PICK UP YOUR CAR AND ITS DIRTY, SMELLS, AND THINGS LIKE BLUETOOTH THAT WERE PROMISED ARE NOT ACTUALLY ON THE CAR , OR REPAIRS SUCH AS A DENT THAT WERE PROMISED TO BE FIXED ON DELIVERY DATE WERE NOT TAKEN CARE OF TWO WEEKS AFTER THE DATE OF PURCHASE. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. WHENEVER I CALLED FOR AN ISSUE EVEN WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH OF OWNING MY TRUCK THEY BRUSH YOU OFF TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHERE PARTS DONT COME IN ON TIME AND THE JOB TAKES LONGER THAN IT NEEDS TO THEN YOU NEED A RENTAL. I CAN RANT FOR DAYS ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE MY EXPERIENCE WAS AT GEORGETOWN KIA BUT IT WONT GET ME ANYWHERE. GUESS I LEARNED THE HARD WAY. BUYER BEWARE. First, we purchased a car in June and part of our c I cannot express enough my disgust about how the service department in this dealership operates. First, we purchased a car in June and part of our contract was they were to include fog lights on our car. HOwever when we picked up the car there were no fog logs and we were told we could get them installed within a week. It is now the end of August and I just had them put in after multiple attempts to have them installed. From the beginning of July, I called daily to book an appointment only to be told to call back the next day without being told why. I kept calling for 2 weeks and got the same call back tomorrow and never given a reason why and basically was given run around. I feel I wasnt taken seriously as a female even though I purchased the car. They have a sign that says there dealiership is women certified well I am a women and I DO NOT certify there service department. Out of frustration I had someone else call (a male) and finally he was told that it was because htey didnt have the part in even though I purchased the car a month before. They continued to tell us to call back and they will order the part. Over a month later, at the beginning of August I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advanced to avoid and chance of any problems occurring. Please keep in mind I bought the car over a month and a half ago and my fog lights should have been in the dealership waiting for me fromthe time I bought the car. The day before my appointment, I called them to confirm the appointment from work because I got a call at home from the service department calling me to confirm my appointment. Since this appointment was booked two weeks prior I took the day off work to bring the car in on their down time in the body shop because they told me they didnt fix cars on saturdays even though my cousin bought a car from them the same time we did and had no problem booking the car in on a saturday. When I called I asked them if there were sure the part was in because they called to confirm the appointment and when they checked suprise suprise it wasnt even in!!! So they called me to confirm an appointment to fix my car when they didnt even have the part in. I lost a days pay because I took the day off for an appointment I made 2 weeks prior. Not to mention they were gonna make me drive 45 minutes to the dealership to tell me ohhh we dont have the part...silly us. So finally, 2 weeks past this and much heart ache I was finally able to book an appointment on saturday and I got the fog lights put in today which is 2 months past the date of when i bought the car and they were supposed to be put in originally when I bought the car. Funny Story, I had an 8am appointment this morning to put the lights in they said i would be the first car in and suprise suprise the car didnt go in til 10:30am ad I got it back at noon. WHen I asked what was taking so long they treated me like a female who doesnt know anything about cars. If I was a male they would have treated me differently. These guys have removed all pleasure of buying a new car. The worst part is at no point did they ever try to make things right. One way for me to sum up this service department is sketchy. They are the reason why nobody trusts car dealerships. They treated me like crap. The only one in that dealership that I can honestly say treated me with respect and even came to ask why i was there was the sales assoicate who sold methe car. I will never step foot in this dealership again! My recommendation to the owner of this dealerhsip is to give training to their service department in customer service. Your service department just lost you a large amount of business for a long time More
I would not recommend this specific Kia dealership. I would suggest buying a Kia Car or even going to Hyundai instead. As soon as I went in with my son to inquire about the same car they changed their tune and were not attempting to take advantage of us as much. When it came time for us to price the car they were trying to stick us with so many added costs that I got fed up and just left. We went in with the hope of buying a Rio and we got so fed up with these guys that we decided go over to hyundai and we got a better deal for a similar car. I have nothing against Kia cars I think as a Mechanic myself that they are great vehicles but i would suggest buying it from another kia dealer and not this one. More
Although this experience started a little rocky Tony the store owner has been wonderful at contacting us and sorting out problem there were some bumps along the way but Tony was very helpful! He has given me a new respect for Kia and their employees. I have now had my Kia for about a month and I love it! It's great on gas it's a smooth drive and I constantly get compliments on the look. As far as service goes they are quick and efficient I was able to get everything I needed in a car an it was excellent. I'm very happy with this experience in the long run and though there were a few misunderstanding I would recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a great car. The staff we worked with were very friend and more then will to help us with what we needed. If I were to purchase another car in the future I would return to this dealership! And I would be more then willing to give it a good recommendation for anyone looking. They treat you like friends not clients they have been easy to talk to over the long run and I have really appreciated all they have done. When faced with a problem they did not pretend like nothing happened they faced it and I really respect that. More
Absolutely horrible experience. This dealership reaffirms the negative stigma and labels associated with car salesmen. We dealt with the manager who also happened to be the owner. He was deceitful, he lied to us on multiple occasions and he tried to change the cost of our car and our financing terms in the contract even though we agreed on another set of details. If we didnt read the contract thoroughly he would have stuck us for more money and different terms than we shook hands on. The worst part is that we had other people with us and were buying multiple cars from him yet he didnt cut us any kind of deal. HE EVEN SIGHTED DIFFERENT COSTS THAN WHAT WAS ON THE KIA WEBSITE!!! I had to make multiple trips to the dealiership during the negotiation period. If I knew I was going to receive this type of service I would have just stayed in the city of Toronto and got one here. When we picked up the cars as well there were scratches on our car which is supposed to be brand new and we have to go back once again to have them buffed out. Even better was he told us we could go to the bank and switch our bi weekly payments to monthly at no extra cost after our first payment. Its a good thing I went to the bank myself and asked them and they said you can but it will end up costing you around $2000 more to do so. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SUGGEST ANYBODY GOES TO THIS DEALERSHIP.
