This place and Kia in general is a bunch of crooked and scamming crooks. My 2015 Kia Sorrento was purchased here. Sales staff at the time were pleasant and insightful. Service department however, was and is not interested in helping their customers. My engine had the update required and has had the dreaded p1326 engine code failure. The tech says it keeps passing the bearing clearance test so Kia Canada won't authorize the warranted engine replacement. They keep giving me back an un-driveable car with the flashing engine fault still on, telling me that once the engine seized it would most certainly fail the clearance test. This has been a 1.5 yr battle with them. If they had any business sense at all they would offer me money for the car, we all know they can "fudge" the test in either direction get Kia to replace the car engine once they own it and sell it for top resale value. This is the biggest nightmare I have ever been a part of. The car has passed the test 3 times, but they have absolutely no information what could possibly be causing the fault code if not for the extended warranty issue. I am not a mechanic by any means, but seems like there is a serious issue among these engines (as per the lawsuit and extended lifetime warranty). They tell you what you want to hear, and then will not at all fight the corporation to help their customers. 1 star is being generous - this dealership deserves 0 stars. My girlfriend recently purchased a used vehicle from Georgetown KIA. We wound up dealing with a salesman named Harman. Harman gave us mult stars. My girlfriend recently purchased a used vehicle from Georgetown KIA. We wound up dealing with a salesman named Harman. Harman gave us multiple assurances, including that the vehicles interior would be detailed prior to purchase (it was dirty with spill marks on the seats), and that it would undergo a thorough multipoint inspection. The interior was not detailed. It was just as dirty upon pick up as it was when we test drove it. Even worse was the fact that on the drive home after picking up the vehicle, my girlfriend noticed an issue with the battery (she had had the same issue with her previous car so it was easy to recognize). She emailed the dealership that same night - not even 3 full hours since picking up the car. They replied the next morning and told her to come in a week later to have it serviced. After waiting over 2 hours for it to be serviced, she was informed that it was indeed a battery issue. She was then informed that she would be required to pay to have it replaced. This battery issue means one of two things occurred: 1. They did not conduct the multipoint inspection that we were told would be done. 2. They conducted the multipoint inspection, recognized there was a battery issued and hid it from us. Both options meant that they were derelict in their duties. Option 2 means that they also were in violation of an OMVIC requirement, despite being an OMVIC certified dealership. She wound up requesting a call back from the used sales manager (a man named Louis that we witnessed arm wrestling his coworkers during our first visit). The call was scheduled for the following Monday at 5:30PM. The call never came in, and when my girlfriend followed up, she was told Louis is off until Wednesday. She then requested a call back from the General Manager - Rob. Rob never called her back. This has been the worst experience either of us have ever had with a car dealership. I will never buy a vehicle from Georgetown KIA, and I would never recommend it to anyone. More
