We’ve picked up the used vehicle on May 14th, 2024. It had passed safety inspection, as a part of the deal. However, we’ve experienced problems with the car as soon as we drove it off the lot. Then we It had passed safety inspection, as a part of the deal. However, we’ve experienced problems with the car as soon as we drove it off the lot. Then we took the car to a separate authorized dealer for a re-inspection, however, we then found out the car had major safety issues and would not pass safety. We brought this information back to the Kia, but they continued to insist it's safe despite evidence to show the contrary. The story doesn't end there... The car also had an existing transmission defect that was undisclosed to us. Quote for the repair is over $6000. Escalated to Rob Tasi, the store GM, but we were basically told we are SOL. We bought a complete lemon. What a joke!!! Run away from Georgetown Kia. It was a complete scam. Never again! More
