Service Staff makes the dealership I purchased two cars at Gateway Toyota. Of course I was pleased with the first purchase which lead me to buy the second car from them. However this was not what made me a very loyal customer. The service staff is what did it for me. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have tried one other Toyota service department and that confirmed my assessment of Gateway Service department. People like Doris and Troy and Bonnie are in my views very valuable intangible asset of the company. They are the reason I keep going back. More
Winter Service went in to get my winter service and tires changed. I was expecting to have a couple of hours wait. It turned out that they were able to get me in rig went in to get my winter service and tires changed. I was expecting to have a couple of hours wait. It turned out that they were able to get me in right away and I was in and out in just over an hour. They even found a screw in my tire that they fixed. Thank you for looking after the small details. Never ever go to this dealership! I went to this dealership only to get information about a RAV 4 and financing. They encouraged me to go a head with their finance department to have m I went to this dealership only to get information about a RAV 4 and financing. They encouraged me to go a head with their finance department to have more information for my special case and I paid $500 to check my credit and have the exact information. I emphasized that I may not buy at this stage and they said that this money is totally refundable. After canceling the contract, it took more than a month to get my money back. The worst part was their attitude. They were not responsive and helpful from that date, always with the customers and on the phone, never got back to me after leaving message in their voice mails. After I went there, I understood (not easily) they had made a mistake and sent my money to another customer's account, but they were extremely rude and didn't want to pay attention to my explanations. They definitely were not those nice people that I met the first day! I never go back there again and even changed my mined to buy a RAV 4! More

I take responsibility for not ensuring the vehicle had all the options, and was disappointed when after searching for the back hatch release button in the vehicle to realize there wasn't one. That would have been a item that would have made me pass on the vehicle. I was in a hurry and didn't look at the options clearly enough. Can't fault the dealership, but wish it would have been further reviewed at the time of sale. More
