I have dealt with 3 dealers over 8 years, but. Gateway Toyota was the least impressive. Sherwood Park Toyota (where I bought vehicle) and Orleans dealership (in Ontario for my CRV) were both more Gateway Toyota was the least impressive. Sherwood Park Toyota (where I bought vehicle) and Orleans dealership (in Ontario for my CRV) were both more responsive and accommodating. I had booked a service time, but was kept waiting more than 15 minutes to check in (if there is a slow line, I find it!). Wanted to wait for my vehicle, but was persuaded to take Uber — big mistake as it pushed my vehicle to the end of the line. Not great service, but then dealership had temerity to ask that I not answer Toyota Canada survey unless I could rate them as “Excellent”. As if. More

Knowingly let my son and I drive 250km to view and test drive a vehicle only to inform us “Oh… that one’s not driveable as is, that’s why the price was good” when we walked in the door. Seemed like a class drive a vehicle only to inform us “Oh… that one’s not driveable as is, that’s why the price was good” when we walked in the door. Seemed like a classic bait and switch. They either have no idea what they’re doing or they really don’t care about you, your time or your money. Not sure which is worse. 1/10…. Would not recommend. More
