I have been going to this dealership since I got my car back in 2004. I am treated like family all the time. They know how to treat people and are extremely knowledgeable. I recently closed a deal on a Tundra from Nunavut but not before contacting most of the dealerships in BC and Edmonton. Never bought a new car before and did not intend to but I was able to get my 2020 not before contacting most of the dealerships in BC and Edmonton. Never bought a new car before and did not intend to but I was able to get my 2020 Tundra SX new for less than a 2-3 year old SR5, that was very odd… My general experience of buying a car wasn't great, communication was very poor, when contacting the dealerships I would get an initial answer to my questions , then often the answers would stop coming or the replies were so delayed, days , weeks sometimes or no answers at all. The advertisements on the dealership websites or other web platforms were full of misleading statements with “switch and bait” fronts, especially in BC. However patience paid off as I found Gateway Toyota which surprised me with an accurate and up to date available advertised cars and very competitive prices. It took two tries, but found an outstanding product advisor Lorne, he answered all my questions, even those sent at odd times, he had patience to explain the process, reassured and made me comfortable, eager to solve the problems when there were issues , never made me feel like he was doing me a favor. The whole transaction was done online and spun over almost three months as I wasn't able to travel due to the pandemic restrictions but Lorne was there for me from the beginning till the end. He is a great asset to the company and hope the employer appreciates it. Give Lorne a call, learn from my experiences, why take a chance. More

I reached out to find out information about a vehicle that was advertised on their website and since then I have been hounded by the sales lady that I was put in contact with. she has been calling and te that was advertised on their website and since then I have been hounded by the sales lady that I was put in contact with. she has been calling and texting trying to get me to put a deposit down on a vehicle I haven't even seen yet and it's not the actual vehicle that I want. She then insulted me via text saying that people should learn from their mistakes they make with other dealerships and that she's glad she didn't waste a lot of time looking for a vehicle for me. I'm completely disgusted by the service offered by this lady. I get that they are trying to make a sale but harassing and insulting people is not the way to get the sale. More
Absolute joke of a service department that pray on woman to rip off. Quoted us well over 4k for repairs and found it funny at first until I got 2 other opinions.....including another dealership. Most of the repairs that we were quoted were either in great working order(coming from the 2 other opinions) or were replaced by this dealership up to a year ago. Ended up getting the repairs fixed for $510 rather then the 4k+ we were quoted. Either sharpen your pencils and hire actual mechanics or stop praying on woman when they walk in the service. Absolutely despicable and we will never return after 10 years. More

Do not buy from them. Went in to see a vehicle, talked with the Mark Ibrahim after and he suggested one price. I told him I would think about it. Came back the next day, less than 24hr and he told me “No, with the Mark Ibrahim after and he suggested one price. I told him I would think about it. Came back the next day, less than 24hr and he told me “No, you must have not remembered correctly, there is no way I would offer you that price on this vehicle.” and came back with a price $700 above. So I went to Mayfield Toyota and they gave me the the same brand new vehicle for the price this smarmy sales person said I remembered incorrectly. Here’s a prediction: They’re going to reply to this saying that “We don’t have a record of your visit, please contact our manager.” That’s how they deal with their negative reviews. So don’t even visit them if you value your time. More
