Bought a brand new Toyota Corolla 3 weeks ago from a sales man called Mario, in beginning everything was okay. We had told them I will be needing the car in Toronto so please get it shipped as it will b sales man called Mario, in beginning everything was okay. We had told them I will be needing the car in Toronto so please get it shipped as it will be more safe to go through the dealership, first of all Mario was told the same week that they get a truck coming so he should inform me if I can drop the car off , but he didn’t and which caused my car to stay at dealership for two weeks almost once the driver came he did the whole car inspection and he showed us that there were so Many small chips on the windshield which was on 1 day old brand new car when we approached the dealership they first denied it but said just get it filled up and will pay for it, like what kind of pathetic service am I getting on here ? You company expects me to pay full price for a new car price and you give me a car with windshield with so many chips ? This was the sales man and management duty to make sure we get ceverything right, I am so gutted as I have to go get the chips filled in a brand new car! So no I don’t recommend Toyota gateway or Mario or any of the members ! More

We both..." My wife bought a new vehicle from Gateway Toyota. We both were very impressed they worked out an excellent deal with us. Part of the negotiation included a hitch that would be compatable with rear sensor (activated by your foot to open rear hatch). Forward a few months later, I go into another toyota dealer for some warranty work to be told I have an aftermarket hitch that will not work correctly with the rear sensor (for a riduclous diagnostic fee of $90). I have phoned gateway toyota and talked to a sales manager said he would return my call after the weekend never heard back. So I called back two weeks later apparently now said manager is now on holidays so they sent my call over to another sales manager left a message and still haven't heard back. Very frustrating, no straight answers and just getting the run around. I feel once you purchase a vehicle your concerns are no longer important to them. Update October 13/21 Contacted by manager Kameel-- nothing has been resolved. Explained our issue again even though this has been explained to numerous people. Needed to emphasize that we were promised the installed hitch would be compatable with the rear sensor. And again given the run around. Was told we would get a call back from either Rick or Kameel the next day with a solution (October 6, 2021). Still waiting for a call back and a solution and it's now October 13, 2021. Absolutely ridiculous. Once the deal is made and money paid your concerns are no longer legitimate to Gateway. More

They are nothing but full of xxxxs!!. Got a approval for 2021 4 Runner night shade. It spoused to be delivered from Calgary within a week they said. Once we got approved they called and said that they foun 2021 4 Runner night shade. It spoused to be delivered from Calgary within a week they said. Once we got approved they called and said that they found the vehicle we want and it will be delivered April 17th. And their excuse was that Calgary dealer didn’t wanna sell them the vehicle. I called them and asked if that’s true and they looked into it and said that GATEWAY TOYOTA NEVER CALLED OR ATTEMPTED BUY THAT VEHICLE!. When I complained to GM all he was saying is that he doesn’t know about the conversation nor what the deal was. There are plenty of other Toyota dealers in Edmonton and surrounding area. Stay away from these guys!!! Do not buy their promises nothing but xxxxxxxx!!! Sales person name is Jimmy. Stay away from this guy More
