I have bought a number of new and used vehicles of all makes and models, so I have dealt with a number of dealers and salespeople. I had a 2012 Ford Escape Ltd. that I wanted to trade in for a 2014 Mustan makes and models, so I have dealt with a number of dealers and salespeople. I had a 2012 Ford Escape Ltd. that I wanted to trade in for a 2014 Mustang GT. I engaged local Ford dealers in Calgary and surrounding area with exactly what I wanted and gave them all a chance to earn my business. Some didn't get back to me and some tried pushing me towards their own agenda. I don't trust dealerships at all levels including salespeople, finance and service. I wasn't super happy with my responses locally so I searched out Edmonton dealers as well. That is where I learned of Freedom Ford and this website. I sent a message to the dealership with my requirements and proposition. I got a message back from Andre that evening and it was probably 10 PM so he was obviously off of work at that time. He said he would get back to me the next morning which he did. There was no BS in dealing with him and they offered me the best overall deal of all dealers. More importantly, he offered the service I expect being a salesperson myself. After ordering my Mustang, he set out a timeline and roadmap of how things would go. He said probably 6 weeks from order to delivery and he was bang on. He kept me informed of the status the whole time with text messages and calls and promptly answered any inquiries I made to him. I just took delivery of my new baby yesterday and I have to say that I am 100% satisfied. Andre in particular as well as Freedom Ford have restored my faith in dealerships. Whether you are local to Edmonton or live in Halifax (maybe not that far away) call Andre and give him a chance to earn your business. Don't waste your time with the "stealerships" and go to the guy and team that will take care of you. It was well worth the 6 hour roundtrip and it is also a good way to get acquainted with your new toy. I highly recommend Andre Jespersen as your Ford representative. You don't know me but trust me. My wife and I recently purchased a used 2006 Ford Escape XLT from Freedom Ford, and throughout our many interactions with Jason and the other staff at this dealership, we were consistently impressed with th XLT from Freedom Ford, and throughout our many interactions with Jason and the other staff at this dealership, we were consistently impressed with their professionalism and ability to ensure that we left satisfied. We test drove the Escape twice before making our purchase, and Jason was accommodating enough to join us for a lengthy second test drive to make sure that we could be completely confident in our purchase before it was made. A week after we bought the vehicle we noticed that it was dropping some oil on the ground, so we returned to the dealership to determine if they could help us. Jason and the used sales manager Lino Marrelli told us without hesitation or reservation that they would take care of the leak at no charge, and set us up with a rental car while the car was being fixed. The Escape was returned to us two days later, and we have had no further issues in the following month. As stated above, the staff at Freedom left us very impressed with their customer service. I was looking for a used car as my 2002 Kia had just died. I called the dealership as I had found a vehicle on their website I was interested in. He was more than happy to answer all our questions. When we went to pick up the car the next day he again spent all the time I needed to show me the features on the car, helped me sync my phone and answered all the questions I had. The car was immaculate just like he said it would be. This is one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in purchasing a vehicle and will definitely recommend both Freedom Ford and Jake to anyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. I was driving a 96 mercury sable which has been costing more than normal to keep together, So my fiancé Justin and I were want to look for a better car for myself. We got out of our vehicle and started to walk to look at cars and here comes this man named Jason walking towards us with a very warm smiling face say how can I help you. He was amazing I told him what I was looking for a ford fusion sport awd with leather seats ,sunroof ,and lots of other things. He took us to his office looked it up and within 5 minutes found my car with everything I would have dreamed of plus more. He went to grab it and said I am going to wash it off before taking it for a drive and off we went. It was love at first sight and Jason was so amazing to us and answered all our questions and was not pushy and very smooth. We also did not get my door code until a few days later but with promises he kept to his word and followed through.
