The finance manager Paiman added things to our bill that we expressly said we did not want - extended service warranty packages or something like that. We had to go back to the dealership to correct and resign the deal. Things we asked for in our car and were told would be included are not. For example, a Cd player and a split back seat to accommodate our child seat. Also when we picked up the car they did not have both the keys ready for us. We were told to come pick one up at a later time because it was locked in the safe and no one had the key to get it out. When we called to arrange a time to come back to pick the key up, we were informed that it was not actually as simple as just picking up the key but we would need to come back with the car for a 3o minute appointment to have the key and car programmed. We do not live close to the dealership and made that clear when we scheduled the appointment to come do this unexpected additional service visit. Then they called us when we were ON THE WAY to the dealership (after we had rearranged our whole day's plans) to cancel the appointment because they scheduled it at a time when their service department would actually be CLOSED. They picked the time! Just ridiculous! The second time we went back to attempt to have the key programmed, arranging the appointment was a headache. By this point the service light on our new car had also come on (the orange wrench). This is after having had the car for just over a month and less than 2500km on it! I wanted to have them check/repair the car and turn off the service light, while we were also picking up our long overdue key. I explained once again that we do not live close to the dealership and do not want to make multiple trips, but need to have the service and key taken care of at the same time. Whoever I first spoke to on the phone didn't seem to know which staff would be in at what times or what times service appointments were even available. I was transferred to Aman, a sales manager, who set us up with an appointment. The appointment took 3x the time they said it would. We were waiting an hour and a half instead of 30 minutes, with our 4-year-old in tow. We were quite upset and were offered nothing to compensate us for all the inconvenience, poor service and dishonesty. AND...upon leaving the dealership we noticed that THE SERVICE LIGHT IS STILL ON!! They didn't check it at all or turn it off!! I called back right away, I have left a message or the Sales Manager Aman, and my husband has left 2 messages. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. Find another place to buy a car. We are NOT looking forward to dealing with these folks for the next 3 years that we have oil changes, etc, with them and are hoping we can just get all our work done at another Mazda dealership! More

I've given this dealership 3 attempts to turn my idea around of their quality but unfortunately I'm going to take my business elsewhere. The employees are great but the amount of time it takes to service a vehicle is long and arduous and frustrating. The inefficiency is astounding and their time management is less than desireable. At the end of the day I leave the dealership feeling like my time is wasted and not valued by the behind the scenes staff. The service manager tried to make it right but failed to do so in the process as the third parties they use for some work do not provide a great level of service and should be reconsidered. More

Lied, cheated, and held us hostage - just don't go! I went to Erin Mills Mazda today and wasted my entire Saturday. I was lied to, strung along, and then basically held hostage when they refused to give me the keys to my car back. Stay away. We were hoping to trade in our two vehicles for one Mazda 3. The two vehicles are a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire (would sell privately for $6 000 based on condition and mileage) and a 2007 Volkswagen City Jetta (would sell privately for $10 000 based on condition and mileage). We found a 2013 Mazda 3 that we liked which was listed at $13 888. Before we went home to pick up the second vehicle to be inspected, I was very clear that we were only proceeding with the deal if we were going to get a reasonable percentage of the car’s value applied to the Mazda for trade in. The representative, Mike, told us “If we can resell the vehicle for $8 000 we will purchase it for $5 000-6 000”. I assumed that since I was able to privately sell the two vehicles for $16 000 and just didn’t want to do the work that we would be offered $10 000-12 000. THREE HOURS LATER we were told the trade in value for BOTH vehicles would be $5 300 – less than the value of the cheaper car. They expected we would give them a Jetta as a gift, I guess. Within about 10 minutes that offer went up to $10 000, so they essentially acknowledged that they had been trying to hustle us for $4 700. We no longer wished to do business with them so we asked for our car keys back, which they really had no need to still be keeping from us anyway. They agreed, but we then sat there alone for a solid 8 minutes before I had to tell another employee that I wished to leave and that they were holding my property without my consent (Mike had not bothered to get our keys – he was apparently working on his next sale). It took us less than an hour to find another car dealer who offered us $7 500 for the Jetta alone. The representative at the other dealership laughed and said “Wow, some people are just crooks” when we told him about our experience with Mike. More
