NO CAR On January 28,2017, My wife and I spent 6 hours customizing and picking out a vehicle with Justin Roh, the sales person. We agreed on a purchase price On January 28,2017, My wife and I spent 6 hours customizing and picking out a vehicle with Justin Roh, the sales person. We agreed on a purchase price of $55500.00. After that our salesperson went to his manager Sam and told us that we missed the February production, but our vehicle would go into the March production. Allowing us to have the vehicle delivered byApril 30, 2017. On April 11, 2017 my wife called the dealership to check on the status of the vehicle. She left a message with Briannna Miller, and a call was returned by Carla, informing us that our vehicle had not even gone into production yet. At that point I emailed Brianna and said that we were extremely confused by this, and it's best if we cancel the deal at this time. At that point Sam called me, stating that the car would go into production mid-May, and we would not receive it until mid-July. I told him this was unacceptable, that we had not heard from anyone at the dealership regarding the lateness of the delivery; we had in fact not heard from anyone since our initial visit in January. I requested a refund of the initial $5000.00 deposit and told him to cancel my order. At this point Sam tried to talk me out of cancelling, however as I explained to him, receiving a convertible in the middle of July in Edmonton was useless. I said I would wait until the fall to reorder and have the vehicle in the spring, not dealing with his dealership because of the lack of communication for three months. It is now April 18, 2017; I have called visa, and there is no refund showing on my credit card. I called Sam back at 1:00pm today. At 2:00pm a Terry called me back from the finance department and told me they couldn't process the refund because they didn't have a credit card number. This being the same credit card they took the initial deposit from. In the one weeks time, no one from the dealership called me to notify me they couldn't process the refund. I have since called visa again, and there is still no refund. I ask the dealership to send me proof of the refund and that still hasn't happened. This appears to be a breach of the free trade agreement. This dealership seems to be very good at selling vehicles they cant produce and taking deposits they cant refund. More

After the shop diagnosing it, the timing tensioner let go, causing timing to be way out, so needs replacement for $2550, after pricing around, they agreed to honor outside shops price for $1900 all in with an induction service, oil change and complete over haul of the timing, which was a great deal, super happy about that. However, I'm super displeased with Mini not offering to warranty there defective, known issue with the timing chain tensioners, it's a known issue and class action law suit in the US. But, whatever, for the price I'll get it fixed. After the repairs are done, Shawn told me the car doesn't run, needs spark plugs, so I authorize replacement even though I knew this wasn't the issue, and guess what... It wasn't the issue, I get told the piston rings are stuck and causing the issue, after they already replaced the timing kit, they THEN decide to do a leak down test ( anyone knows with an interference engine when timing let's go it'll most likely need a new head ) but they still were adamant that it wasn't the head. After being told numerous different stories, they realize that in fact there are bent exhaust valves, and get quoted more, even though they decided to waste 2000 of my money and not diagnose properly. After many discussions with the service manager, we finally come to an agreement they were in the wrong and I'll just pay for parts, so my total bill came to $2,550. They were nice at reasoning with me about the bill and allowed me to keep the car their for a couple of months, I was happy about the effort from Edwardo on that. Once I picked up the car, after five days of me driving, it burnt through 3 litres of oil.... Out of 4.2 it holds.... Ok, so I take it in again and they topped it up for free which was nice, asked to keep an eye on it, great. 3 days later, I'm down 1 litre, and the engine light starts flashing, and car running rough with it puking out blue smoke, panicked I get it to the dealership with no appointment. Dealt with Shawn again, got a shuttle back to my work, and received no call if it would be ready, I had to chase for info, only to get told they haven't even looked at it, awesome... They advised me I could drive it and bring it back, which I didn't trust but my only means of transportation I accepted. Brought it back the next day, no update at all, all day, until 400 rolls around and me yet again having to beg for an update, they didn't even know if it was ready... Told them to send a shuttle, got a taxi ride back and to my surprise a bill! No call with any quotes or ANYTHING! Yet they lied and put on the work order that I approved it... Please show me the email, signed copy of quote or call that I approved this, because I know I sure didn't. Finally the service manager tossed the keys at me and told me to leave and not to come back.... I find out after they put in a used ignition coil for a misfire on cylinder 1. Drove my car home and was working fine, next morning the engine lights back and driving like crap, I left two messages for the service manager with no calls back, finally got in touch with the GM, who was fairly pleasant to deal with and seemed semi concerned, offered to speak to service manager and get back to me, mean while i have a car that's not running properly and no solution or offer to help or even make an appointment... So, I took matters into my own hands, pulled the plugs and to find one "brand new" spark plug they replaced to be completely Fowled, and the others a bit wet, I cleaned them up, swapped the coils, and no code has yet returned. Something so simple that was overlooked just baffles me. If you want something fixed properly, do not bring it to these guys, you will be filled with disappointment, regret and the out right feeling of being treated like nothing. Unless you own a brand new BMW, you're nothing in their eyes. Even discovered they changed my email on file just so I wouldn't get an email from BMW about a CSI survey. I could go on for days about the deceit of this place, however, they know what they have done and wish do nothing about it, if anyone's looking for proof or more info regarding this, I will gladly sit down over coffee or a phone call. After test drivi Firstly, my husband and I had to seek out someone to help us. Secondly, the salesman Kevin was very pushy, condescending, and rude! After test driving a mini and getting pricing on the one we test drove he got very protective over his pricing sheet that my husband wanted to inspect and had quite an attitude about the questions we had. He became quite annoyed when we told him that we were not prepared to sign a deal right there and then and that we were going to shop around, he then literally got up and walked away in a huff, refusing a handshake. We will never go back there and will tell everyone we know what terrible customer service this place had to offer. So glad we walked away!!! More
Terrible costumer service Terry mah, the general sales manager is the rudest person I've ever met, after I cancelled my purchase I had to deal with him, he was not professional Terry mah, the general sales manager is the rudest person I've ever met, after I cancelled my purchase I had to deal with him, he was not professional at all, he lost his cool and took me and my girlfriend out side to talk freely, he was insulting us, making fun of us, and constantly lying to prove a point, what he didn't know is that we recorded the whole conversation, I tried to do something about it through amvic but they claimed to be always busy. Edmonton BMW took over $4000 from me, I tried talking to other managers but noone ever called me back or care at all, so my only advice is to avoid this dealership at any cause. More

Poor Sales Experience (MINI) Terrible customer experience shopping for a Mini Cooper S at Edmonton MINI. It took 15 minutes before we were approached and nearly an hour before Terrible customer experience shopping for a Mini Cooper S at Edmonton MINI. It took 15 minutes before we were approached and nearly an hour before we were able to test drive a vehicle. The salesman we dealt with used very old school high pressure sales tactics that lack transparency and left us feeling like we couldn't trust anything he said. He steered us through a long and drawn out process that took nearly 2 hours and in the end, they sent us away without so much as a price sheet. We are very serious buyers that simply want to gather some pricing information so that we can make our decision and they basically turned us away because we refused to do it their way. It's shocking to me that they would be willing to turn away business in this kind of economy. This experience was especially bad compared to our experience at others dealerships where the sales teams were up front, allowed us to steer the conversation, and made us feel completely at ease. Read on for some examples of why the experience was so terrible.. - there was a single line item called "dealer charges" that added up to nearly 5k in addition to the $495 admin fee. he was willing to break down those charges for us, but he didn't point it out to us which showed a lack of transparency. other dealerships have been very upfront about these types of fees. - invoice also included a separate line item for Freight and PDI in addition to the MSRP. We mentioned that the official website indicates that the MSRP already includes Freight and PDI, and he gave us a bunch of explanations for why we were wrong. we confirmed that he was lying to us when we got home. - we explained that we were serious about buying a car within the next couple months and were deciding between a MINI and a VW and wanted to negotiate a buying price so that we could make an informed decision. salesman explained they cannot just give us a "best price" and that they needed us to make an offer to bring to their sales manager, so we made an offer. He asked us to sign as a commitment to buy and when we refused, they took away the price sheet they previously provided and the sales manager came by to tell us to "have a nice day" and that they would be happy to help us when we are serious about buying. - We didn't really want to talk about trading in our vehicle but the salesman guided the conversation in that direction by going ahead and starting the paperwork without asking us if that was okay -- it felt very coerced. They asked for the keys to take a look inside the vehicle while we waited; they did not make it clear to us that they would be test driving it without our presence More
X3 just died but Edm BMW brought it back to life From the moment I arrived at the dealership with my X3 on the back of a tow truck, Carmen Herreros approached me with a smile and ushered me promptly From the moment I arrived at the dealership with my X3 on the back of a tow truck, Carmen Herreros approached me with a smile and ushered me promptly to her office. Being December I had many functions booked that week (their loaners were all out) within 15 minutes Enterprise was waiting with a car for me. My vehicle was tied up for a month, but Carmen always kept me in the loop and never made me feel like I was bothering her. More
Exceptionally Poor Customer Service Having bought the vehicle and the corresponding warranty from this dealer 5 or 6 years ago, I would have expected them to be aware of the existence of Having bought the vehicle and the corresponding warranty from this dealer 5 or 6 years ago, I would have expected them to be aware of the existence of said policy when I brought the car in to have some fairly expensive repairs done. However, nobody checked the vehicle's file, and the insurance company wasn't informed prior to the repairs being undertaken. Naturally, the repairs were not covered. When we complained, we were told by the General Manager that we should have let staff know about the policy and that they wouldn't take responsibility. I trust that this wouldn't have happened with any BMW dealership in Germany ... or with Bavaria BMW in Edmonton, which is the dealership where we will be taking our business now. More
