I am very disappointed with my service experience I brought my Honda there to get a new drl relay assembly installed. the service manager said I should have unit diagnosed first incase it is ok.He ca brought my Honda there to get a new drl relay assembly installed. the service manager said I should have unit diagnosed first incase it is ok.He called me and said it was ok(the drl assembly) and needed something else.However after $362 in labor He ended up replacing the drl assembly what he said I didnt need after the diagnose .So it cost me all that extra labor to diagnose and then replace what he said was ok.Not right!! My Ridgeline had a recall for which I booked an appointment weeks in advance. My appointment was for a Monday at 9:00. I subsequently had another email reminding me, at least one text reminder and a phone call, to further remind me and thank me for the opportunity to service my truck. After all this communication, I dropped the truck off and was told they would need my truck for most of the day, or at least three to four hours. I made an appointment for 9:00 and was expecting the dealership to start the work as close to my appointed time as possible. Not to be told, we will need your truck most of the day for a 2.2hr job. The service department did not call me when the work was done and the truck ready to be picked up. The shuttle driver called me at 12:47 to state he was waiting outside of the pickup location. I had no heads up from service so was not at the pickup location but thankfully only a few minutes away. The dealership staff were very friendly but what was the point of all the appointment communication if they were not going to honour the appointment time? More
