After 13 yrs of driving the same vehicle (my very first car) I was determined to make another educated decision for my next purchase. I arrived at Bank St. Hyundai and was immediately greeted by Faysal Akl in a warm, welcoming, energetic and professional manner. I knew exactly what I wanted and what my budget allowed; I was one determined consumer. Even though this particular industry has a certain stigma regarding women who are looking to buy a new vehicle, never once did I ever feel like Faysal or any of the representatives (male dominated) assumed that I wasn`t a knowledgeable individual who didn`t know what she wanted. After spending an entire day going from dealership to dealership, I had grown extremely tired of having your typical representative treat me like I didn`t know the front end from the back end of a car. So thank you Bank Street Hyundai for making this experience nothing but positive for an educated single woman! I had done my research and with Faysal`s help, it was time to put that knowledge into practice. We took the Elantra GLS for a spin and let me tell you, it was an amazing ride! I had chosen my model, now it was time to negotiate. Once again, through Faysal`s persistence, perseverance and professionalism, I signed my name on many dotted lines and at that moment I was the owner of my brand new Elantra GLS. I couldn`t have been any happier with the price and adjustments that I`d received. I had everything that I wanted without going over budget. Thank you to Faysal for your professionalism, flawless customer service and contagious energy! Last but certainly not the least : Joe Younes. Thank you Joe for your patience, explanations, professionalism and outstanding customer service throughout the final administrative stages of this process. The paperwork certainly is the most tedious and never ending stage of these types of purchases, however, having Joe`s calm temperament (in addition to his handsome appearance) certainly helped get through the boring blah blah`s of paperwork! I purchased an Hyundai Elantra GL 2 month ago and I do not regret my purchase. The Bank Steeet Hyundaiwas recommended to me by a co-worker who had purchased a vehicle at this location. I was very nervous as this was the first time I was purchasing a new vehicle. i found Faysil very friendlyand he put me at ease right away. He made me feel like an old friend / family. We discussed my needs in a vehicle and he explained in details the different models in the Elantra. He then invited me for a test drive and explained the different features. Back at the dealership, we discussed the particulars, model, color, features available to the model and then we finished the price of the vehicle. I have to say that what I was offered is exaclty what I got with no hidden agenda from the Sales Representative. Faysil Akl really works for the customer. He really made sure I was satisfied with not only the vehicle but made sure that the Customer Service was a priority. I have worked for the past 28 years in Custoemr Servcie and I can say without reservatiions that this gentleman really knows that Customer Service is key ot success. I then met with the Finance Manager, Ernesto Lorello. We discussed the vehicle purchased, pricing. Ernesto explained the different oprtions of payment. He looked at the best scenario for me monthly payment vs bi-weekly payment. I had come prepared with copies of pay stubs, insurance documents and ownership of previous vehicle which Ernesto commented. He offered various services and explained the reason why I shoudl get them. I asked about winter tires and negociated price which was too good to past up. We completed all the paper work for the purchase of the car. Beaasue he had to wait, he suggested I go home and he woudl call me back which he did that evening. I was really surprised as it was now past 7:30 pm. Ernesto was really professional and his Custoerm Service skills were extraordinary. The service I got is to be commended and highlky recommended. I met great people and i can now call freinds. Go for a visit you will not be disappointed. More
I went in for service at Bank Street Hyundai and a couple weeks later I got a surprise call from the sales guy named Faysal. He wanted to extend an offer to me to upgrade to a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I had weeks later I got a surprise call from the sales guy named Faysal. He wanted to extend an offer to me to upgrade to a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I had not previously thought about getting a new car; however, Faysal was incredibly outgoing, funny and relate-able on the phone, so I decided to go in for a test drive anyways. When I arrived there Faysal I continued to be impressed by Faysal! He was really listening to what I said and was genuinely interested in things I had to say. The whole time he was really funny and entertaining, while at the same time showing that he was there to help me get the best deal possible. This made the experience very comfortable; it honestly felt like we were just two friends discussing the pros and cons of making this big purchase. The best part was that even after I had decided not to buy the car (because I am still a student), he was still just as considerate and friendly! I would 100% recommend Faysal to any of my friends or family because from what I could tell from the few hours I was there is that he is an extremely hard working, thorough and approachable salesman. I'll be honest my credit score wasn't at its best and I was stuck in a car loan paying 14.75 percent rate of interest. Juan-Carlos and Ernesto got me into a 2013 Santa Fee Luxuary Sport ("My Dream Vechile") paying 3.30 rate of interest. At no point did they make me feel uncomfortable about my credit score. I want to personally say thank you. More

We are now the proud owners of a new Hyundai Elantra GT-S – the one with the really cool panoramic sunroof. It’s dazzling white, and the roof is black. It doesn’t look like your typical seniors’ car, but the – the one with the really cool panoramic sunroof. It’s dazzling white, and the roof is black. It doesn’t look like your typical seniors’ car, but then, we’re not typical. It started innocently enough – ‘wouldn’t it be nice to have more cargo space?’ – seemed to dominate the conversation for a while. We already owned an Elantra, and were happy with it, except that we both thought that more room for ‘stuff’ would be nice. We’re thinking about taking a cross-Canada trip, and need room for luggage and one toy poodle. Hmm... So, first we spent hours on the net doing the initial research. Perhaps a cross-over, or maybe a hatchback, would be good? Then we lined up trips to the car dealers. (There are lots of choices around here.) We planned that our final destination would be the dealership where we bought our last car. Over the next couple of days, we test drove a few cars in a few different places. One of us is a fairly petite individual, so the cross-overs were rejected; she felt like an inexperienced bus driver in them. (She likes to be able to see the road in front of the car - this is a good thing!) Next, we investigated the hatchbacks; there were several good ones that might meet our needs. A word here about car salesmen – there’s a look that some guys get in their eyes when they see two ‘mature’ (debateable in one case) females approaching them. You can almost hear them thinking – okay, this should be easy; they won’t know anything much. I hate to stereotype here, but, they are often young, male, and keen to make a sale, which is totally understandable, but, it does not impress us, especially if they don’t give us the respect we deserve. It’s hard for them to disguise their real attitude towards us, no matter how ‘smooth’ they think they are. We get the feeling that some guys just don’t want to negotiate with women. Well, too bad...we are women, hear us roar, (and I think the next part is... in numbers too big to ignore)! We are polite, but there is also a tendency within us to want to chew these guys up and spit them out. The upshot of this – even though we managed to negotiate some pretty good deals – was that we walked away. We went back to our ‘old’ dealership, and decided to ask for the salesman we had dealt with three years ago – Mark Molleken. We liked him the first time around, and remembered him as above-board and fair, and he treated us with respect. We were pleased to learn that, in the interim, our favourite sales person had become a manager, but he remembered us, and still took the time to talk to us – it was like meeting an old friend. He then introduced us to another sales person, Sillin Canegan, whom he felt would give us the level of sales service we were looking for. Good choice! Sillin spent a lot of time listening to us, and didn’t push in any way. She was obviously going to do her best for us. The test car was a GT-S hatchback – it looked and felt good, but that’s not what sold the car. The final sale really came down to the level of customer service – that’s what sold it to us. We, Sillin, and finally, Mark negotiated a deal which was do-able for all concerned. Both Mark and Sillin were so professional. Even when we had to do the boring old paper work, the youthful and charming Christoph Haddad was a pleasure to deal with. All in all, considering how stressful a major purchase can be, the car adventure was a very satisfactory experience. Bravo Mark, Sillin, and Christoph. Hyundai should be proud to have you representing them. I know we’ll be happy with the new car. More
