Buying a care here is easy, fast simple and care free. They are knowledgeable, friendly and you will get a great deal. It is difficult to make an appointment (don't even try to use their online service and you are usually put on hold for 5-10+ minutes on the phone), and they always use scary tactics such as "if you don't get your brakes inspected for $199, your will be jeopardizing your warranty". Brakes are not part of the vehicle warranty, so they are clearly trying to upsell and scare their customers into opening their wallets. You can expect to wait at least 2 weeks for any kind of service (especially anything pre-paid). I had a recent serious problem with my Santa Fe, and I was told that I would have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment, but I knew the vehicle needed servicing right away. I had to escalate the issue and speak to a manager. When I finally brought the car in, it had a broken suspension coil and could not be driven - the mechanics were quire concerned that I had been driving an unsafe vehicle. It still shocks me that despite all of my calls and pleas, it still took over 1 week for the dealership to take me in despite the urgency (a piece of coil had actually broken off and I told the dealership this). I then had to wait an additional week for them to order the part, but to their credit, they did pay for a rental although they did tell me that the only reason I had a paid loaner was because it was under warranty. After a few months, I find that the front left tire is worn out more than the right one. So I go to Bank street Hyundai, to replace the tires in the front. But they advised me to go to somewhere else as they are at lower price. And transferred service to Huntclub Dilawri as they take care of my problem and give me a precise advice. Today, I was comparing a genesis in Huntclub Dilawri to my genesis and found that my hood is missing the weather stripping rubber. They advised me to go back to Bankstreet Hyundai, as the good manager will not accept that quality from Dilawri and will bring you a replacement to that rubber or buy it from there as it was not available. So, I go to Bankstreet Hyundai, meet a customer service person in the service department who tried to prove that I am to blame on going somewhere else other than Dilawri even if was another Dilawri, made a complete history check on the computer and then tells me that there is nothing they can do, I came to Bankstreet before and did not tell them that the part was missing. Yes but no one would notice except the people who know the details of the car like the service team.. So he says that he talked with the manager and they have nothing to help me with. So I went to Scott, the Manager, and he told me that it is a used car so they only do safety on it and they do not know if the rubber piece was missing before or after sale. So, I ask him to give instructions for small issues like that might cause a lost sale in the future but he said he couldn't I was planning on replacing my Genesis Coupe with a Genesis Sedan from Dilawri, but I will reconsider to be honest Despite the fact that I have face issues with the Service Team, I would Thank Sillin Canegan as she was a very experienced and nice person More
