It was a much better experience than what I'd had in the US where there had been the stereotypical car salesman that had made it a very bad experience. I almost didn't want to check out KIA because of the US where there had been the stereotypical car salesman that had made it a very bad experience. I almost didn't want to check out KIA because of this experience but am so glad I did. A friend had family that have KIA Souls that they love which motivated me to go. I am very happy with the customer service and the sales people that I had to deal with - they were extremely helpful before , during and after my purchase. I am so glad that I bought my car at 401 Kia Motors and that I had Robert helping me and I love my "new" car! More
After my awful sales experience, please read my other review. I wasn’t sure how the service department was going to treat me after I made my purchase. Monday Dec 2nd 2013 - I dealt with John, Servic review. I wasn’t sure how the service department was going to treat me after I made my purchase. Monday Dec 2nd 2013 - I dealt with John, Service Manager at the time whom may have been pressured by sales to get me to come back in to sign for the car as he called and wanted me to take the car off the lot for 24 hours to realign the navigation unit. I contacted KIA Canada and they didn’t advise Service that this needed to be done. I didn’t want to go back to this dealership until everything was 100% correct with the navigation unit. Wednesday Dec 11th 2013 - After I had signed for the car (I was frustrated being without a vehicle at this point), I came back in to have the navigation unit looked at. John ordered an antenna for me and gave my car a good wash for wasting my time. I thought that was nice. Monday January 6th, 2014 – I met Paul, Service Advisor. Immediately, I could tell that he would take care of my issue. As soon as I stepped out of the car, he knew my name and what needed to be done. He even gave me an approximate ETR (estimate time of repair), which I have never ever received from any dealership. Unfortunately, the antenna replacement didn’t correct the issue. I drove the car around the block and brought it back immediately. When I told Paul, I could tell that this bothered him. He went to the back, probably to find out who tested the car to tell him it was working. He listened to me when I suggested what might fix the issue and he kept his word to keep me up to date on what was being done to correct this. Wednesday Jan 8th, 2014 – I left my car with Paul until the navigation unit was 100% fixed. Monday Jan 13th, 2014 – I received a rental as promised and kept it for the duration it took to fix my car at no cost to myself. Monday Jan 27th, 2014 – I picked up my car with a working navigation unit and I absolutely LOVE this feature. I just can’t believe that I only now get to use it when I had the car since Dec 4th. There are some cosmetics to be corrected, but the Navigation is working just as Paul promised. Paul is a definite asset to this dealership. When he tells you that he will contact you at a certain time, he always does. *During this ordeal, I have been contacted 3x to remove my original post about Sales*……so when it comes to recommending this dealership, and my only options are: yes or no. I have to say Maybe for service. I have heard multiple stories in the waiting room and I guess I would suggest you do the same when you come in for service. More
What a great dealership. Amit Sharma put me under no pressure to buy, or push me toward a particular model or price. I test drove various models in the dealership, despite the winter weather, and Amit pressure to buy, or push me toward a particular model or price. I test drove various models in the dealership, despite the winter weather, and Amit showed confidence in his vehicle knowledge. Melissa Stitt is amazing in finance, and showed me how to go about financing the right car for my budget and needs. Other employees I spoke to while I was there, (Sunil and Sky) made me feel very welcome, I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Kia or used car. They sell cars because they care about their customers. More

I recently had the privilege to do business with 401 DIXIE. The entire purchase process was smooth and hassle free. Sunil Singh and marcus gave an outstanding overview of KIA sorrento and sportage model DIXIE. The entire purchase process was smooth and hassle free. Sunil Singh and marcus gave an outstanding overview of KIA sorrento and sportage models. The test drive with Sunil was awesome. He put together a good pricing for me. I had a pleasant negotiation with Mr.Cullen in finalizing the deal. Melissa(finance) gave precise details on the finance and related paperwork. She is really an asset for 401 kia. Above all, the best thing that I found in 401 Dixie is that they focus on the customer's requirement and work towards it rather than convincing to go for alternatives. I got the vehicle on promised time, with selected color and accessories. Sunil is friendly, witty and understanding sales person. I definitely recommend to avail his service and 401 kia. More

Marcus and Sky were a pleasure to deal with. They took time to understand my needs and made appropriate recommendations. I always felt welcome and appreciated. On the negative side my dealings with Robert time to understand my needs and made appropriate recommendations. I always felt welcome and appreciated. On the negative side my dealings with Robert were not up to my expectations. During the financing paperwork, I was provided with incorrect information and to my shock the interest rate I was quoted ended up higher that what I had earlier agreed upon. Honestly after a whirlwind of paperwork I felt confused and felt like I was not getting the value I expected. I left the dealership emotionally exhausted, very happy to receive the car I desired, but questioning the value of the final deal. A note to prospective buyers I would recommend asking for all the insurance, extended warranties, car protection etc. be worked out prior to picking up your car. That was my mistake; I did not have enough time to thoroughly look thru the paperwork that was presented to me on the day I was picking up the car. I also found that I had to make a lot of decisions on the spot. It really was a stressful experience. I am not sure if this is a normal practice at dealerships these days but a purchaser should know what the final costs are prior to picking up the vehicle. Overall I would rate my experience as slightly above average. My only wish is that the dealership should have walked me thru the paperwork, and given me a heads up on how long it might take to process all the myriad of paperwork. I had been out of the country for several years and hadn’t made a car purchase in almost 15 years. It was quite a different experience than what I had so many years ago. More
So I primarily went to the this dealer for lease pricing, in no way was I going to make a decision that day. When I walked in the door I was greeted almost immediately, asked my purpose of coming in today a in no way was I going to make a decision that day. When I walked in the door I was greeted almost immediately, asked my purpose of coming in today and was introduced to a sales person. I stated I had been looking online and wanted to see some leasing numbers on a Kia hatch. At that point the push back began, "finance will be better for you, leasing is for business owners, do you even understand how the lease works, etc". Again I explained I only wanted to see lease at this point and perhaps (really to have him stop asking me) shoot me a finance number too. The sales guy got my all the details I was looking for and went off to another office to come back with an answer. Things were looking up, I was on my lunch I figured this could be quick as I didn't have a lot of time. He returned and the blurb began, "I am not your typical sales guy I want what is best for you, but I need your commitment to buy today to get you good numbers." I re-explained my purpose of coming here and he showed me the numbers lease rate was about 2 times higher than what the website said but magically the finance rate was lower. Again I was told "finance is the way for me". Actually it became pretty clear that the sales team were either commissioned high on finance or got some sort of kick back for it. Again, I explained my reasoning for wanting to lease, the pricing he had vs the website and that I wanted to trade my current vehicle too. For some reason he seemed agitated by this, but he went through the motions of the trade, back to the office for pricing, back to me with even better finance rates and no more lease rates. At this point I was getting ready to walk for two reason this guy is clearing selling me what he wanted not what I wanted, and I am now approaching the hour mark and I have gotten no info what so ever. I decide to change tactics get a brochure and ask him some details on the car at least get some information I could refer to later when making a decision. Nope, no brochures. Ok sometimes the run out, "can you tell me the engine size, options, colors you have on the lot?" The sales man didn't know. I started to grab my things. It was now late for work and had gotten no info, no numbers but a fair idea of what to expect if I continued dealing with this dealer. I could go on about the other little things that irked me but you get the gist. I actually am dealing with another dealer now, he had me prices and a pdf brochure to me in 15 min within my first inquiry. Would I buy a Kia still? Yes. From here? No way Would I recommend this dealer? No More
