USED F150
I wanted to share my experience at the dealership on February 5/2026 and have to say it was unacceptable to say. As I entered your dealership, I was not greeted by anyone. As I scanned the dealership, all I can see is employees on their phones, no one looked up to offer help or greet me. I made my way to reception and the girl there was kind.
She made it known that the person whom I was supposed to meet was not available and that someone else would assist-no problem things happen! The person who was the fill in had a negative reaction from the get-go-kind of like "Why was I selected" The first impression was not a good vibe or welcoming, not personable. He simply said he'd get the keys and jumper pack since the battery might be dead, I said sure and I want to be there to hear a cold start of the engine and again the vibe I received was that of annoyance. Why should this be a problem?
He finally returned, we went to the truck and it started. As I was doing my walk around, the salesman was trying to get the washer fluid to work, I tried also and told him that the pump wasn't working and it's no big deal since it would need to be fixed for safety, it likely had summer washer fluid and it was minus 10. He said he would take the truck to the back and get the windshield cleaned and be back in 2 minutes-he jumped in the truck and just drove off leaving me standing there. He never directed me back to the building, just drove off and left me in the cold. Fantastic!
After waiting 10 minutes, he showed up finally, he asked for my license and I told him not to run my credit rating since there is no need at this point and while he was gone I continued my inspection and found that the back seats were very dirty and the truck should have been cleaned, I'm surprised it was presented this way. Upon his return we jumped in the truck finally, and so far, it's been 45 minutes. I told your salesman that I wanted to test drive the truck on the highway and he gave me an odd look and said we only go around 2 blocks and that is it! Excuse me! Seriously we only go around 2 blocks? I told him kindly that I must drive the truck on the highway to make sure there is no driveline vibrations or odd noises.
HIS Response? "We do not have Gas for that!" What?
"Well, we will have to get gas," I told him since I will not buy a truck without a proper test drive. His reaction came across that I'm being unreasonable and a long pause of silence. He said that he can't get gas and will need the manager's permission and it will be 20 minutes or more. He jumped in the driver seat, drove off and just left me standing there again, never asked or directed me to wait inside. My hat and winter gloves was in the truck when he drove off without saying a word...So incredibly rude!
While inside the entry door of the building, I just stood there, the dealership staff just walked past me, no eye contact, or even asked if someone was helping me. I had enough and it's now been 45 minutes and possibly another 20 plus minutes before I can actually get the truck out making it well over 1 hour wait time, especially when I have had an appointment.
What dealership implies that it is a burden to test drive a truck on the highway? What dealership leaves a truck with no fuel in it and makes it seem like its a burden to get gas? What kind of salesman treats a person this way?
Leaving a customer outside in the cold twice? And the second time drove off with my hat and winter gloves.
I have bought many cars over the years and I'm a simple person to work with, I'm tactful and believe in good customer service, especially when someone is spending money. I had enough and left, no way are you getting my money I thought, the foolish thing on his part I was going to buy the truck as long as it was ok, I drove 1.5 hour to get there and the same home, and 3/4 of my work day off.
I'm disgusted as the level of service I received today. Shameful
