As a repeat customer at this dealership, I would expect that Management would not try to gouge customers - that was the feeling that I got when time came to sign the lease agreement. I was told that it was Management's decision to enforce the 1,399 Lease Waiver "Option" as a mandatory requirement for leasing the vehicles at this particular dealership. When I contacted Subaru Canada, I was told that it IS EACH DEALERSHIP's decision to enforce the Lease Waiver Plus and that Subaru Canada cannot overrule. Granted, the option was never taken off, but eventually they recommended that I take the Appearance Plus, because it was a better choice since I am planning to buy out the vehicle after 2 years. Given that I had no way to opt-out, I then took the Appearance package which extends 2 year extra than the Waiver (which is 3 year) on a 2-year lease. Very disappointed here. So I am writing this to let others know what you may be dealing with in coming to this particular dealership. We talked on the phone and the person said you can test drive with BC License and he told me they have many new cars for me to see.
