I was very pleased with the sales & service staff at Willowdale Subaru. I recently lost my previous vehicle due to a bad collision. I was thrilled to see that Willowdale Subaru actually had inventory of Willowdale Subaru. I recently lost my previous vehicle due to a bad collision. He worked with my schedule & I'm sure he worked some magic to keep my Forester available for me. I LOVE my new Forester! :) More
I am very pleased with the excellent service from Willowdale Subaru. They took the time to answer all my questions, went over all the car details for me, made sure that I was completely comfortable. They detailed the car and had it all ready for me and even had an employee learn about the features, as I wasn't buying a Subaru, to explain them to me. Even though the car I was buying was not a Subaru, they treated me like it was and even answered questions after the sale days later. More
DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. We were extremely disappointed with this dealership. We bought a second hand car and between signing the deal and picking it up front headlight was We were extremely disappointed with this dealership. We bought a second hand car and between signing the deal and picking it up front headlight was broken. They refused to send the headlight to us and when we went to have it fixed it took over 3 hours. They claim that they told us it would take three hours but it did not. So they were responsible for the broken headlight, they barely apologized and only when pushed to do so, and we paid the price with over 5 hours time wasted including travel time. Was shopping for a new WRX, and they asked if I wanted any options/packages to which I said no t Had a HORRENDOUS experience with this dealership. Was shopping for a new WRX, and they asked if I wanted any options/packages to which I said no thanks. They said ok, showed me my monthly payment without options, and said they would email me the offer sheet. I agreed and paid a deposit. When I got home, I discovered the salesperson added in a $thousands of 'options' to my offer! Multiple emails and calls were made to enquire, but she kept sending updated offers with additional mystery options, and said I can remove these on pickup day... Finally, on the day before pickup, I called the sales person and then a manager to chat through, as I needed to sort out a bank draft. The manager in particular was rude, dismissive, and said the OPTIONAL charges are now MANDATORY for every car. They would not provide details of what the added charges were actually for either. They were almost yelling at me for asking what the charges are for, they just kept saying it's mandatory and to go away if not happy. They would happily refund my deposit if I didn't want the car anymore. I was completely shocked by the level of rudeness, and decided to cancel and shop elsewhere. After verbally agreeing to a refund, and subsequently texting to say they have processed my refund, I got a passive aggressive email from a 'Loyalty Manager' who said they will 'deduct all expenses' from my deposit and only return it only once they sell the car....it's unbelievable what these crooks will say and do. AVOID THIS PLACE. Save yourself the trouble and just shop somewhere else, there are plenty of honest dealers out there that don't sneak in mandatory options. Seriously don't trust this place, their word means nothing. More

Im so happy that I made the purchased of Crosstrek from this dealer plus the Technician guide person, Harish, so well experience explaining interior and exterior of the car. Superb staff . My experience with Willowdale Subaru this time around was terrible! There is no respect for people's time! I had scheduled an appointment to view a specific car that I was told was available, and made a 4 terrible! There is no respect for people's time! I had scheduled an appointment to view a specific car that I was told was available, and made a 45-minute drive to your dealership to see it. After waiting 10 minutes past the time of the appointment, I was informed that the car was no longer available. This was extremely frustrating for me, as I had taken time out of my busy schedule to visit your dealership and was counting on the car being available. Not only did I waste valuable time, but I also incurred additional expenses for the drive. I understand that mistakes happen, but I expect better customer service from a dealership. Here is an example of what better customer service looks like: I was to go to look at another car at Richmond Hill Subaru —after visiting Willowdale— and that car was sold as well BUT the big difference was that I was called and told that it was no longer available. It would have been courteous to have received a phone call or an email beforehand to let me know that the car was no longer available, so that I wouldn't have made the drive in vain. For perspective on the timing for those who think "xxxx happens", I called late the day before and the earliest appointment was the next day at 1pm. I hope you will take this matter seriously and make necessary changes to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Of interest, I wrote to Darin Pilon (Sale Manager) and there was no response. Regards, Owner of 2 Subarus who was looking to buy a 3rd. Grace at Willowdale have been fantastic. I picked my 2023 Forester. She has been there throughout the entire journey as I waited for this car. Always takes the time to respond and answer abs I picked my 2023 Forester. She has been there throughout the entire journey as I waited for this car.
