Th overall service from the dealership from when I walked in to buying the vehicle was a very high standard. The Saleslady Grace Long was very knowledgeable about the vehicle (Legacy) I purchased. I was so impressed with the vehicle that after a month I bought my wife a car from Grace. I have now had my car for nine months and would recommend Subaru brand to anyone looking for a Great reliable vehicle More

Worst customer service I would definitely tell everyone to stay away from Willowdale Subaru as far as possible simply because I had a horrible experience with the sales lady I would definitely tell everyone to stay away from Willowdale Subaru as far as possible simply because I had a horrible experience with the sales lady named Grace Long at this local Subaru Willowdale location. I wanted to get a new Subaru Impreza so I did some homework on the car and some price comparison, finally I have decided to come to Willowdale Subaru dealership to make the purchase (also because it was close to where I lived). Grace Long was the sales lady that greeted us as soon as we walked into the door. We didn't want to waste any of her time so we kindly asked her if she can honor the price that we received from the Richmondhill Subaru dealership. she didn't want to honor the price at first and not only that she shamed us and called us cheap. We negotiated for a bit then she took my credit card and pressured me into making a quick decision and implied that she would not give back the card unless I decide on that day. My family and I really like the car so we had no choice...After she made the sale, Grace told me to give her 10/10 on the customer service satisfaction survey which I will receive in the email in a few days. I believe sales people need to earn their good reputation not by begging so of course I didn't give her a perfect score, right after that she called me up and humiliated me over the phone (called me a lair, insulted my family members...). To make things worse, the Willowdale Subaru dealership didn't have the vehicle onsite on the date I made the purchase, Grace Long told me to wait for a week before I can drive my new car. So I waited a week, when I came in to pickup my new car, she gave me the keys and also rushed me out of the dealership. It was only the next day, I found out they put my license plate sticker in the (front) registration plate instead of the back plate. And when I called in to service department, they didn't seem too surprised and told me to fix it myself. Grace Long is a very aggressive and deceptive sales person. I am very disgusted by her dishonest and questionable sales tactics. She only cares how much commission she will make out of you so stay away from her if possible!! More
They don't honour service appointments. I called for an appointment for one-hour routine servicing before a 2 p.m. appointment the next week with sales, A young woman said service staff I called for an appointment for one-hour routine servicing before a 2 p.m. appointment the next week with sales, A young woman said service staff knocks off for lunch so I should come at 11 a.m. This seemed unreasonable so the service manager personally booked me for 1 p.m. for one hour. In the event, it wasn't ready until 2:30 p.m. Due, it was said, to service staff having lunch. The sales managers's position that the appointment was only to turn up for a line up. After all, he said, doesn't a doctor keep you waiting? You may be as unconvinced as I was. He admitted fault, waived charges, and said its wouldn't happen to me again, though it could well happen to others. I told the sales manager I wouldn't buy from a dealership with a service department that thinks it can run behind as reprehensibly as doctors, with less reason. More

Once I knew exactly what I wanted, I used an invoice pricing service and they put me in touch with Taher at Willowdale Subaru. Spoke on the phone to him a couple of time to get ballpark pricing and then confirmed in an email to him what pricing I was looking to pay based on the data I had. Went to the dealer and struck a deal for the Crosstrek Limited with Eyesight. I though my budget would preclude me from getting the Eyesight package but I stuck to my budget and managed to negotiate a good price. Overall, an easy transaction. I am a huge believer in separating the test drive, and research from the purchase process and this worked out well for me and the dealer. Taher was really nice to talk to and very patient. He knew I didn't have a lot of time and helped move things along quickly More
Terrible Service/Salespeople are liars The tile is perfect way to explain them. It was my second time to have Subaru but, I am not going to go back there ever. The tile is perfect way to explain them. It was my second time to have Subaru but, I am not going to go back there ever. More
Terrible Service/Salespeople are liars After endless running around about the price and being given contract to sign that we did not agree on we finally settled on something with Maya Ghade After endless running around about the price and being given contract to sign that we did not agree on we finally settled on something with Maya Ghaderi and was promised 3 weeks to receive it. Before buying my vehicle I asked for test drive but Afshin Soufivand asked me to pay deposit first. After I paid the deposit he said I can't get my vehicle until 6 weeks after purchasing then pushed me to talk to the warranty department without a test drive. After I talked with someone at the dealership for half an hour, I asked her if I could get a test car to drive, she felt so surprised that I never had the chance to test drive. After 5 weeks, I didn't hear any news from the dealership. I then went to see what was going on. They told me my car was still not in Toronto and that they would make an emergency pickup when the car arrived. After 4 days I received an email from one of the salespeople and they said my car arrived in Toronto, but, still no one let me know when I could receive my car. After a week, I went to talk with Maya, she said I would receive my car after 3 days (not sure how much longer I would have had to wait if I didn't go into the dealership). After I obtained my car, I went to 3 different winter tires stores and found out they had all sold out. I informed Maya of this and she said she will try to find them for me but never heard anything back from her. TLDR: Shopping for 2018 Crosstrek, was lied to from beginning to end, had to fight for a test drive and everything else along the way (still didn't get to test the model I wanted), unable to get winter tires because they took too long to deliver my vehicle and had to wait two months for my vehicle to be in my possession. Knowing this, the sales person was intent on inflating price points from which to start the negotiations. First of all, he stated that the sales price would be higher than what I saw online. The sales person also said that chances were that my online quote was for that of a manual transmission vehicle as opposed to a more pricey automatic transmission vehicle. I told him with certainty that the online quote that I had obtained was indeed for an automatic. As another tactic, the salesman tried to sell me the the Impreza hatchback versus the Impreza sedan. The Impreza Hatchback is about 1.3K more then the sedan. The sedan was the purpose of my visit, so I wasn't about to pay more for a random suggestion. Next he pushed the $795 wear and tear insurance, which brought the online price above my intended budget. Then he knocked off a measly $500. I was prepared to leave the dealership, as he gave me the impression that there was very little room to negotiate and that every discount required management's approval. When he realized I was prepared to leave, he offered to work on the price and suggested knocking off another measly $500 pending management's approval. He had me sign a hand written memo and asked for a $1,000 deposit and a credit card to show good faith. After speaking with his managers, the sales man returned stating that my offer had been approved, but that management needed an additional $500 deposit. I didn't see how this would make a difference, but when it came down to it, it was a $500, plus HST downpayment they wanted (not a deposit at all. The sales people lied to make the sale). ultimately, I was only getting the initial measly $500 discount that I was prepared to walk away from at the start of our negotiations. And the monthly cost was more than the online quote for same vehicle. I feel that the tactic was sneaky and dishonest. To make things worse. The Willowdale Subaru dealership didn't even have the vehicle on site, and couldn't guarantee when they could locate and deliver the vehicle . I am not impressed and will not return to this dealership in the future to do business. More
