I had a horrible noise coming from what I thought was my A/C compressor. I booked an appointment, but also mentioned to them that while my initial thought was the compressor - I was concerned it may be a cr A/C compressor. I booked an appointment, but also mentioned to them that while my initial thought was the compressor - I was concerned it may be a cracked fly wheel. The day of my appointment comes and the Service Desk calls me to let me know that the only mechanic there that day had called in sick (this ended up being the ONLY phone call I received from Service for the almost 5 weeks my vehicle was there.) That was no problem at the time, we have another vehicle, so I left it. Over a week goes by - no call. I phone them! Turns out - they replaced my A/C Compressor and wow! That was NOT the problem! They did try to convince me that the A/C compressor was also faulty. We asked them to show us the compressor and test it in front of us. Unsurprisingly, they "could not find the part". I tried calling the Service Desk multiple times over the weeks and the calls went unanswered and voicemails not returned. Finally, 4.5 weeks after my initial appointment, the MECHANIC texts me to tell me my vehicle is ready. Not the Service Desk. I picked up my car yesterday and it sounds great and runs perfectly. I will say that the mechanic who replaced my fly wheel (Andrew) was fantastic, very respectful, and a darn good mechanic who I would trust with my vehicle time and time again. I also appreciate the Service Manager (Stu) understanding why we were not comfortable paying for a part that may not have needed to be replaced and being willing to discuss alternatives. He was very willing to hear our concerns and I thank him greatly for his patience. However; the lack of communication from the Service Advisors at the desk was horrible and made for a horrendous experience. It actually had me considering selling my Ford and buying a different brand just so I never have to deal with those Advisors again. I had no problem that there was a partial misdiagnosis, I have a problem that I was NEVER told anything. I had to go in and ask if my parts were ordered, I went in again to ask WHEN my parts would arrive. I was never told anything by the Service Advisors. 5/5 for Andy and Stu. 0/5 for the Service Advisors. I recommend Whitehorse Motors for their Mechanics. I do NOT recommend their Service Advisors. Service left my vehicle unlocked when THEY moved it from their lot to the street parking. It was broken into while in their care and more than $500 worth of equipment was stolen. The service department would not take any responsibility for this clearly negligent behaviour. On top of that the vehicle was only there because they did not complete the repair from a month earlier. I sent a letter to the owners and have not heard back from them after a week. More
Hello, I am increasingly feeling discouraged with the service I receive from Whitehorse Motors. I am very happy with my f150 truck but feel that the level of service is far below that quality. For exampl service I receive from Whitehorse Motors. I am very happy with my f150 truck but feel that the level of service is far below that quality. For example, after my last service in December 2022, the windshield fluid froze in the system and on the my windows. I had to pour hot water on it to get it running and then I drained the system and added a -45 fluid that I bought from Canadian tire. As well, I was charged $50 because "there was snow in the engine compartment." I had just driven down the Dempster in a snow storm so there was probably snow in the engine compartment. In March I noticed a grinding noise emanating from the front right when in 4WD but not from the left side. When I mentioned this on this last service on June 10th 2023 I was told that noise is normal. I am left wondering why a noise on the right side is normal but non existent on the left? Are your technicians trying to avoid potential warranty work? I had booked an appointment in April but that was cancelled because of of a lack of technicians available. I work out of town and I can only bring my vehicle in on a Saturday. For this recent service, I asked for the front and rear tires to be swapped, and the wipers to be replaced as well as the air filter . For some reason, that seems to cost an extra $240 over the usual oil change . My total bill of $430 for oil and filter change, wiper blades and tire swap seems extortionate. I like my f150 but I'm wondering if when I go to trade it in, maybe I'll go with another make that provides better local service. Kind regards , Doug Cooper More

Had an oil change and tire change over scheduled, only to find out that they lost my new summer tires that were in there storage facility. And of course not a manager in the facility at all that day!! The yo find out that they lost my new summer tires that were in there storage facility. The young service guy was good to deal with but of course dealing with the replacement of the set of tires is out of his hands and can only be dealt with by a manager. I've been using this dealership for about 8yrs now and it has gone downhill hard in the last year and a half!!! My son-in-law was there about a month ago and was basically told if your not here to buy new then xxxx off!! More
GOOD mechanical service! BAD customer service! Customer service employee argumentative, unknowledge and disrespectful. He booked me for an appointment then told me I could no BAD customer service! He booked me for an appointment then told me I could not have that appointment because no one would be able to retrieve my tires that were at Fords storage. When I spoke to the manager, the manager said there was enough time for them to grab the tires from storage during the week and to book my appointment. When I approached the customer service guy to let him know what the manager said, he said he had to go confirm that with the manager and when he got back, he stated "My manager said it was ok". BUT I had just told him that! That made me feel disrespected as a customer and as a woman. And when another issue arose after I picked up my car and I approached the same customer service guy to ask if someone could come do a maintenance on the electronics, he stated I would have to book another appointment for that. I responded to his statement that this request was done in the past without issues but he seemed lost. At that point, another employee spoke up and stated it is something they can check right now. Obviously, this customer service guy does not know what he was doing and I will not deal with him again. More
Bad customer service at the service dept , when I called about my truck , no one answered and I’d call back they would pick up the phone and not say anything and hang up and they did this several times from about my truck , no one answered and I’d call back they would pick up the phone and not say anything and hang up and they did this several times from 9 am -12:40 pm , I walked in there to pick up my truck. 3 employees were there, doing nothing. I asked why they kept answering and hanging up. The guy at the service desk laughed and thought it was funny ! I was not impressed . More
