We recently bought a Nissan Rouge from here and a few days later, when I had got the car up to higher speeds of 90km/hr, we heard a very loud high pitched whistling noise. The dashboard display also said 'service needed'. Mechanics then told me that the transmission needed replacing. We would not have bought this car if we knew that the transmission was broken. Westwood Honda is not meeting their 'Honda Certified Used Car standards' which they proudly state on their website. The 'exhaustive 150-point mechanical and appearance inspection' missed something incredibly crucial, that this car's transmission did not work. Beware of buying a used car here. I would not have bought the car if I had known that the transmission needed replacing. More
Lack of customer service and appreciation. And hidden fees! Let me start off by saying that I've been to other Honda dealerships before to service my vehicle. But not at Westwood Honda. My appointment was at 1pm and I didn't get out of there until 3pm. I was told that the oil change and the "multipoint inspection" would take approximately 1 and half hour. And I would be contacted at the lounge once my vehicle is ready. Looking at the tv screen in the lounge where it shows service updates, my vehicle should be ready by 2:25pm. It was 3pm and no status update, and no car. So I walked up to the service desk for status, only to find out that my car has been ready for a while, and nobody even bothered contacting me. I get it, they're busy. But so am I! And there is more. I was charged a $5 "miscellaneous fee" which I was never charged before at destination Honda - where I had my car serviced previously. On top of the 2 plus hours of waiting, they didn't even bothered giving my a car a wash. Where a complementary car wash is a common courtesy in other dealerships. I will be bringing my car to a different location for my next service even if I have to drive a little further. More

Then they give us a loaner car so we can see the difference and tell them there is a huge difference and that the loaner actually drives like a new car should but they don't care. Try backing the product you sell and not brushing everything under the rug. More

At only 50,000 kms, a few months before the lease was up, we started having trouble getting the 6-speed manual transmission to engage in first gear. Push in the clutch, move the stick to 1 and get a horrible clicking noise when easing in the clutch. Our daughter took it to Westwood Honda service department. They "fixed" it, by adding some clutch fluid and doing a bunch of other work that she didn't request or approve, and charged her over $600. They said the work wasn't covered under warranty. And guess what, the problem with the transmission came back after only a few 100 kms. The extended warranty says it covers drive train breakdowns and associated fluids, but service said it didn't and she had to pay. Will never get another Honda or deal with Westwood again. More
