I waited at Service Counter for 10 mins without being greeted or acknowledged even though there were 3 service personnel at their kiosks without customers. Nobody came to say, hi and/or that they would be a few mins. Meanwhile, I notice the shuttle loading up and about to pull away (it's 7:50am at this time - the shuttle is scheduled to leave at 8am). I approach and ask if its the 8am shuttle and the driver unpleasantly asks where I'm going (as if it's a burden now for her to shuttle me somewhere in addition to the others). I say I've yet to check my vehicle in and she brushes me away saying I'll have to get another shuttle. So long story short, I get back in my truck, back out of the service garage and leave. I'm already looking at another dealership just due to proximity. Mayfield is doing nothing to make me want to stay lately. After initial great experience (we bought 2 new vehicles in the same year a few years ago and take everything there for service, they've likely lost our business outright. Bad business - they (and all) businesses that deal with customers (who doesn't) should understand Customer Lifetime Value more. I.e. It generally costs 5x more to attain a new customer than retain an existing customer. Overpriced & more noises after repairs done. Mayfield is overpriced and does low quality work. I feel lost (and cheated) at their service centre. First you talk to the Receptionist, then the Advi Mayfield is overpriced and does low quality work. I feel lost (and cheated) at their service centre. First you talk to the Receptionist, then the Advisor, then you pay another person and you never see your mechanic (the most important person). All are nice and smiling but in the end we felt it was overpriced. We had $4000 worth of work done and when we got our 4Runner back it made front end noises and vibrated at highway speed. So much for that full inspection and expensive parts they replaced. It did not make those noises nor did it vibrate at highway speed before we had it in. This has happened to us before where we had it in for repairs and when we got it back it was not done correctly. Mysteriously something unrelated had to be fixed, something that was not an issue before. In addition I also like to get my old parts back. After all they belong to me. They just keep them without the option of getting them back. Unfortunately I can not find an independent mechanic in Edmonton for Toyota. I bring my Volkswagen to a small independent mechanic who is awesome (Basco). In summary I feel cheated without any options. My family rides in this car and quality repairs should be taken seriously. It should not be just profits (although it feels like it). More
Rude and not professional Me and my wife went to this dealership to trade in our old vehicle and buy a pre-owned RAV4. Because of my wife's job we were able to make it at 8:30pm and the dealership was supposed to close at 9:00pm. The sale person, Phi was very nice and helpful. At around 10:00 pm we've been very close to buy a car and make a deposit, suddenly a guy came in and introduce himself as Scott Wilson Pre-Owned Vehicles Sales Manager and he told us in a very rude way that he's been listening to us since 1 hour ago and we've been circling around and we don't want to buy the car and this is the best deal we can get and that we already closed 1 hour ago and... . All of that was shocking conversation with a person we never met before and we didn't even know how to react, we just left. We thought, If this happen during sales, how they treat us during the service? I admit that we stayed late, however, this doesn't justify a rude behavior from a manager. He could 've called his sale person in private and tell him to wrap up the sale. Two days later we bought a better RAV4 from Kingsway Toyota with a better deal and when we left it was 11:05 pm and the manager and the staff were very kind, helpful and polite. More

Forward and Efficient Being prepared for what I was looking for, I had no problem asking for the vehicle of my choice, and Faheem did an excellent job making sure I had an Being prepared for what I was looking for, I had no problem asking for the vehicle of my choice, and Faheem did an excellent job making sure I had an opportunity to test drive my choice by coming to me at work, gave me a relaxed experience, and followed through with all the details as discussed and promised (with the aid of his manager) for this purchase of a used vehicle. The vehicle required a bit of added preparation and even though the unit was driven off the lot without noticing some additional detail to be done, the staff had no resistance to bringing it back for corrections. Terrible experience, patronising and dodgy sales staff We went here looking to trade in a 2008 Tacoma in perfect condition for another vehicle. Firstly the sales rep we dealt with was loud, rude and not very personable. He had no idea about the details of or history of the car we went to see. He eventually found the vehicle in their car lot after we waited for a further 20 minutes. He then advised he had no keys for it. Upoin returning to his office he tried the very hard sales pitch and was extremely rude to us. He then offered us one third of the market value of the Tacoma and laughed literally in our faces when we said hemjust be mistaken. As we went to leave he insisted the price he was giving was correct and was quite rude and patronising. Myself and my husband are shocked we received this type of treatment from a Toyota dealership. I would never returnand would advise anyone looking to purchase a Toyota or trade in to avoid this garage at all costs. They are time wasters, leave you sitting around, have extremely poor customer service and have sakes staff who seem to have no mechanical or basic vehicle knowledge on the range of cars they are selling. A point also to note is that the images on their website are not of the actual vehicles they sell ( we were informed of this by our very boisterous and unprofessional sales rep!) I found the team mayfield trustworthy, genuine, with speedy and prompt decisions. I felt ease with them and hope to have a good relationship with mayfield toyota in the future too. I would not hesitate to further propose my friends and relatives to mayfield honda in case they want to buy a vehicle. More
