I was looking for a newer minivan and found one nicely priced at West Edmonton Hyundai. I was there a couple of times trying to decide wether to buy this vehicle that was better priced or go with a diffe priced at West Edmonton Hyundai. I was there a couple of times trying to decide wether to buy this vehicle that was better priced or go with a different one that had some different options that we liked. While my wife and I were debating which vehicle to pursue we were given time space and cold water. Even though we did not make the purchase. The kids were given some balloons we were treated with respect and did not feel pressured during this visit. I would recommend this dealership as a place to check out. I was looking online for a vehicle for my wife. It was time to upgrade her van to something smaller (our kids are now teenagers) and we did not need as much room and my wife wanted a vehicle with AWD to d time to upgrade her van to something smaller (our kids are now teenagers) and we did not need as much room and my wife wanted a vehicle with AWD to deal with our winters. I started my research online (If a dealer does not want to host an online site to help the customer, I do not even consider them) looking mainly at the Honda CRV's. After much research, I found that the Hyundai and KIA vehicles had come up a lot in the reliability ratings from where they previously were, so I looked more into the Hyundai and KIA line equivalents. In the end we had decided on a Hyundai Santa Fe over a Honda CRV or KIA because of the warranty, online ratings and the looks of the Santa Fe (pending a test drive). I did some more searching online and found that 2 dealers in Edmonton had extremely low km 2011 Santa Fe's in stock, so we made a trip from Slave Lake to Edmonton to have a look. We arrived at West Edmonton Hyundai and were directed to and introduced to Victor in sales. Victor immediately gave me the feeling that he was someone who cared and could be trusted. I told him which vehicle we were interested in and showed him the print out from their website with the vehicle sticker ID on it. He got the keys and went with us for a test drive (after filling out appropriate paper work :) ) The test drive was great. The Santa Fe handled well, was quiet, and had plenty of zip. After getting back to the dealership, we got an approximate price, let Victor know that we had a van to trade in and that we would be back the next day to get a trade in assessment. The next day, we headed back to Edmonton (my daughter had a dental appointment) and brought our van in. We had Victor, and Lewa (Lou) look at our van and give us a price difference. I told them we had one more vehicle to look at, at another Hyundai dealer and we would decide then. We went through the sales process at the other dealer. In the end we chose to go with West End Hyundai. We felt that in the end, they wanted to take care of us over the long term, not just make the sale. We would recommend West End Hyundai to anyone and know that they are a dealership with integrity (based on their treatment of us in our dealings with the sales manager Lewa especially). In the end, the main things that led me to deal with West End Hyundai were; Online Website with details (pricing, km, options), the people (sales were great, management was great, financing, also great). I have taken a 2010 Hyundai Genesis in for regular service at West Edmonton Hyundai on four occasions. On each of these occasions I have received servicing that has topped the service that I have rece service at West Edmonton Hyundai on four occasions. On each of these occasions I have received servicing that has topped the service that I have received at other dealerships. To put this in perspective: the other dealerships have always provided very good service but at West Edmonton the service has always gone above and beyond what others have provided and what I have expected. Examples of this is are: 1. when seeking snow tires for the Genesis, I spoke with Ian who provided me with a recommendation which was less expensive than what I was seeking originally. The price was not the issue, he said, rather the tire and rims that he was recommending were better suited to the vehicle and he was absolutely correct. After a winter of deep snow and ice, the car and the tires proved to meet all the challenges presented. 2. when bringing the vehicle in for service, Jeff has provided friendly and efficient service. On one occasion, it was learned by the dealer that one slightly different tire had been installed out of the set of four tires. Jeff called and offered to come to my place of work and pick up the vehicle so that the dealer could install the correct tire so there would be no loss of time or cost to me. He showed that he was willing to go the extra mile to solve a problem. On other occasions he has shown a willingness to spend the time to explain and supply information and service about the Genesis that I needed. 3. Devin and Gerry were helpful in providing me information when they did not have to. They were helpful and genuine in dealing with my questions. I very much appreciate the way that all the employees of West Edmonton have dealt with me. Each individual, some not named here because I do not know their names, has shown a friendly, easy going and helpful attitude towards me. More
I walked in with my sister to be greeted with friendly smiles all around and the young salesman Ocean stepped forward and said, "I am here for you." We were instantly joking, having fun and shown a car I was quite interested in. He quickly got the keys to two different models and we narrowed down to the one I ended up buying. He sat in the back telling us things about the car while I took it for a lengthy test drive, loving it more every moment. I have always bought second hand cars and this is my first every brand new car. My second to have been bought at a dealership. While it transpired with a bit of anxiety, both Ocean and Aaron (manager or somebody higher up, not sure of his title) were negotiating with me, meeting me more than halfway on some of my requests and really stepped up the customer service. Scott Wilson the finance officer and I laughed through the paperwork. Even as the price rose higher and higher as I said yes to every protection package offered. While I know that this puts extra dollars into the dealership's coffers, I also have researched most of the packages before and believe in their worth in preserving the value of my car. I also want to add that I was determined to buy a Honda Fit. That was the only other dealership experience I had and it was pleasurable in 1989 when I bought one that had been traded in with quite low mileage. I had been to Honda about 6 times previous to this first visit to Hyundai on July the 6th. I felt that Honda no longer strived to meet the customer half-way, not even part way. So now that I have brought home my Hyundai Elantra Gls Touring Sport Package, I am more than willing to forget some of the features of the Honda Fit that I liked. The Elantra hatchback had enough of the features I wasn't willing to live without in my automobile investment. Customer service and the personalities of Ocean, Aaron and Scott are what sold me the car. Nothing less. To elaborate on that further, what I mean by personalities is that I always felt I was dealing with real people who were not required to speak out of a script or black and white company line that allows for no deviation or individuality. I find and experience when I am dealing with individuals, I feel more respected as an individual and not just another customer. It also helped that my brother a power engineer, but forever a car guy, buying car magazines, reading them and had researched Hyundai and the changes you have made over the years in your cars and in your service was impressed with Hyundai and my car choice. A younger sister will always feel better about her choices when a wise older brother concurs with them. Thanks for the great experience. We received a flyer in the mail that prompted my sister and me to come in to your dealership the day I was going to go to all places who had hatchbacks. We stopped at Hyundai after two other places and never moved on. More

We drop by west edmonton hyundai about two month ago for a new vehicle. We met Christa at the entrance of their beautiful bright show room. This caucasian lady really gave us a huge surprise with her great a new vehicle. We met Christa at the entrance of their beautiful bright show room. Christa not only introduced their car, but also compared them with similar vehicle from other manufacture. Though it was rain outside, we still have a huge pleasure of test drive with her accompany. After that visit, Christa did politely follow up with us without bothering us like some other dealer did. It was a great experience at west edmonton hyundai with Christa. He was patient while we made our decision without pushing or rushing us into a sale. Richard and Aaron (sales manager) presented us with a fair price and great financing options. We were given time to make our decision without pressure. Once we met with Scott (business manager) we were quickly approved for financing and presented with our options for extra insurance and warranties. The options were presented in detail without pressure to purchase. Overall we had excellent customer service from all steps in the purchase. Richard even took care of our son (11 months old) so we could discuss all of our options without having a baby distract us. We would highly recommend West Edmonton Hyundai. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy going. More
