It all started when we were referred by a friend to a dealership in the Northside. We were looking for a SUV around our budget and we will be paying it cash. The salesperson who was helping us there showed us a vehicle which is $5000 more to our budget. He said we can finance the difference so we agreed. I was hoping to finance the remaining $5000 plus taxes and fees. We signed up the papers because they did not let us go home that night without signing the paper. it was really late that night and I was so tired so we just signed and signed. The next morning I checked the copy of bill of sale that I have and I've seen that I will be financing $15000 more.! the vehicle was $15000, we put down $10000 and I ended up financing about $20,000?? I called the manager to explain it to me. They said blah blah blah about extended warranty. I said if that's the case, I'd rather get a brand new instead. I asked the if we can switch to a brandnew instead. They said they can't switch it anymore because we signed up the papers already and we already owned the SUV. We have not driven the vehicle home yet. we went home really frustrated. To my surprised they delivered the suv to our place and asked me to go and see them so we can get a brand new one. I was hopeless talking to these people. I want to blame my friend who brought me to them in the first place but I also need to blame myself signing up the papers without checking it carefully. But I am still fortunate because another friend of mine, upon hearing my very frustrating story, he called Ms. Pia for me. I was too scared or ashame to call her but upon hearing her voice, I felt genuineness and sincerity on her voice. She came to our place to see the SUV because I don't want to drive it and it was not registered or insured yet. I told her our story and with her help and guidance, we were able to trade the SUV at the same cost, no negative equity and managed to cancel the double extended warranty that they added, too many insurances and other adds on we can cancel anymore. It was stressful but with Ms. Pia's genuine care and assistance, I can't thank her enough. She's there since we were in the problem and up to now she is still doing her follow up. it is really true when she said " welcome to our humble family!" At West Edmonton Hyundai or Pinoy Cars Canada we feel safe and home. God bless you more! More

He is low pressure and lets you make the choice as to the vehicles you want. Alan know the products inside and out. My young children and my wife really liked him. Normally, we find dealerships extremely stressful, kind of like time-share presentations in Mexico. This was one of the most low pressure dealerships we have ever been to. You walk in, find Alan, look around, test drive, walk out, think about things, buy if you want to or leave if you want to. We usually buy from "The Big Three"; when i asked my wife to come and look at their products, she thought I was crazy. I am a car enthusiast and never in a million years would I consider buying something that wasn't American made. I was more than impressed with the quality and engineering of the vehicles I had looked at. I had test driven about 20 vehicles before coming here; and, not one met my needs for the price-point. I was extremely impressed with pretty much everything I saw and the factory warranty is incredible. I suspect along the way Hyundai hired engineers from VW to help; some I looked at almost had a VW passat feel; although laid out much better and for a way better price. I was also impressed to learn that Hyundai is the only car manufacturer that makes its own steel. Many of my friends are body-men and they tell me that the steel has become poorer over the years in the larger vehicles, they are seeing twists from light accidents that were non-issues a few years ago. I am a huge fan of OnStar only found in GM vehicles; it is pretty cool to see that Hyundai is coming out with BlueLink; a similar feature that for a small fee will allow you to remote start your car with your phone and call a trusted number in the case of an accident; we have O/S in two of our other vehicles. It is an incredible feature; my next vehicle will be a Hyundai with Blue Link and Alan will be my salesman. More
