I couldn't use truck if weather was over 29 Celsius cus ac couldn't keep up. I took it back there to show salesman Doug and Chris took care of it no charge. Turns out the actuator had to be changed and whole dash had to come out. This was a big job but they said they were going to make it right for me. Also the intermittent wipers were messed up and they changed the motor and made that right too. I was surprised and thrilled that they did this for me. I was worried and upset when I found out about the issues cus I thought I would have to live with it. I'm 55 and this is the 1st time I bought a vehicle from a dealer because I had the opinion that they are ripoff places. Well I'm certainly of the opinion now that Lakehead Motors is just the opposite. I would not hesitate to make future deals with Doug and Chris. More

Started out great and went downhill from there We went it to look at a used vehicle that we had seen on the website. We really liked it, the price was better than another dealership and they offer We went it to look at a used vehicle that we had seen on the website. We really liked it, the price was better than another dealership and they offered us a better value for our trade-in. The rest of the process was a little long and disappointing. We went in on Monday to provide information for financing and we were told the information would be entered in the system right away but it wasn't until the next day. We had an appt for 10:30am on Thursday to sign the paperwork and get the vehicle but it was nearly 11am before we were seen by a different finance person who didn't know the details of the car deal. The paperwork had to be re-printed to adjust for a plate transfer rather than new plates, the payout for the loan on our trade in was different and the payments were different from what we were originally told. The process took an hour and when you are taking time off work to be there, we would have appreciated more respect for our time. Either call us to let us know you are running late or have someone else prepped and ready to go. Overall, we were disappointed in the service we received. We will be in the market to replace our other vehicle and because of our experience here, we won't be giving them our business again. More

Process after signing the deal took too long Salesman Justin Melanson was great .. Personable, friendly and I appreciated him keeping us updated via computer and phone calls on a regular basis as Salesman Justin Melanson was great .. Personable, friendly and I appreciated him keeping us updated via computer and phone calls on a regular basis as we do not live in Thunder Bay. The manager I felt seemed upset and was abrupt. The process after we signed the deal was which upset us and feel it could be improved. We signed at 2:30 pm .. Proceeded to the financial person who needed to find approval. we heard from Justin that evening that approval was good and then we phoned the next morning to find out when we could get the car. It was the we were told we could meet with the finance person at 6:00 pm that night..We thought he was kidding and said that was way to late and was unacceptable as we had a 3 1/2 hr. trip home... Justin got it changed and we did get out at 4:30 pm. Hopefully improvements could be made for out of town customers . Secondly I felt that the 2 salesmen desks in the middle are much too close for any privacy. They practically touch and one can hear the other very clearly which is not good for private matters. More
