My new truck that I’ve purchased from here has had more than a few problems from day one and i know it has been miss diagnosed by possibly inexperience. First time driving in the rain my dash lit up like a xmas tree and l was told moisture got in the wiring and then multiple parts were put in and problem solved. Month later for whatever reason my AC quit and it to was due to moist connections but that wasn’t it, then they told me it was the compressor and nope, finally it ended up being the PCM. Fact is guys, l will take my business elsewhere if this keeps up. This is uncalled for long periods of down time. Good thing I didn’t have to rely on this truck for work as l probably would have lost my job seeing it was in the shop more than it was on the road. More
Brought in my truck as the engine light was on and it showed on my Ford app it was shutters. Get a call 2 months later saying I owed $250. I asked for what they said there was nothing wrong. So I said so showed on my Ford app it was shutters. Get a call 2 months later saying I owed $250. I asked for what they said there was nothing wrong. So I said so I’m being charged for that. They said it took 2 hours to look at and found nothing. As I said it told me the problem on my app. Needless to say pretty poor way to do business. I will not be back. More
I have had several previous buying experiences at this dealership and all were exceptional EXCEPT this one. This time, it was an unhappy, unsatisfying, totally unsatisfactory experience. My vehicle was dealership and all were exceptional EXCEPT this one. This time, it was an unhappy, unsatisfying, totally unsatisfactory experience. My vehicle was ordered on the 18th of March and I took possession August 12th. There was nothing the dealership could do about that, due to COVID delays. However, when the vehicle arrived, the dealership said they would require and additional four thousand plus dollars before I could have the vehicle ordered. When the legalities of the binding nature of the contract signed in March were presented, I was directed to come to Yorkton for pick-up. It wasn't long after arriving at Royal Ford that I was sure my refusal to pay the additional money was going to present real issues. Shortly I was told that me vehicle had damage and would cost almost three thousand dollars to repair. The damage was alleged to be hail. When I said I would make an insurance claim, I was refused by this dealership; in other words, I would have to drive the three hours home and make a claim there. The reason Royal wouldn't accept and insurance claim on site, was that my Provincial insurance company was "slow" making payment. Other equipment ordered with the vehicle wasn't on the vehicle and although Ford offers roof racks (at additional cost), and they had been ordered with the vehicle, I was told that the vehicle didn't have the structural integrity to support roof racks. After discussion, the roof racks have now apparently been ordered. Of course, there was the attempt at intimidation, when three employees of the dealership were sitting, two across from me at a desk and one beside me. Was I intimidated? Not particularly, but angry, I certainly was. I think buying any vehicle, particularly a new one, should be an experience of excitement and pleasure; that is certainly not what I felt this time. -- This experience at Royal Ford is probably the worst buying experiences of my life. .
