Poor sales service. I did some research on Subaru when I saw the advertisement of the new Ascent. I wanted to see the Ascent Premier and so made an appointment for today. Saturday Feb 20th 2021. The appointment was made with Mohammed since he was the responder to my online query. I wanted to test drive the vehicle to get the feel of it’s handling and performance. I was immediately advised that we can only go where he instructed me to go. The drive was short but okay since it’s their rules. When we got back I discussed with him that if I were to opt for this vehicle I would like to lease it. I wanted to ask about addicting a few options but he proceeded to provide me with biweekly payments. I had not made a decision to proceed and politely asked if he could provide us with a printout. He said no. We went to two other dealerships to shop for a vehicle and they both provided us with a printout so we could go home and make an informed decision and choose. He left me and my wife for a moment and then returned and while walking towards us said “ I see that you don’t have your credit out so you are not interested”. We were disappointed with his attitude overall and his final comment. Now after reading the reviews further I changed my mind and am not interested in buying or leasing from this dealer or any other Subaru dealers for that matter. First impressions count and this dealer did not impress me. More
The current service management is very dishonest. Twice now they have not just oversold me on repairs but actually lied to me. Just bought a 2016 Subaru Outback with eyesight at Subaru Brampton. Dishonest Service Advisors & Technicians DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED DISHONEST TECHNICIANS. I went in to get an alignment for my 2015 Subaru WRX and they told me that a tie rode f DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR CAR SERVICED DISHONEST TECHNICIANS. I went in to get an alignment for my 2015 Subaru WRX and they told me that a tie rode from the rear right needs to be replace because it has a play in it. As a result they did not do my alignment. So they quoted me the part & labour to fix the problem. However I did some research on the part # and it was a completely different part than the service advisor said. It was a part for the control arm. So I was suspicious and went my mechanic to see the problem that they told me. He checked my suspension on all 4 wheels and it was 100% solid and had no play in any of the parts. So I went to a different shop (Midas) to do my alignment. And guess what? They successfully did my wheel alignment with no issues at all. They said there were no problems with what Subaru told me about the rear tie rod. Two different technicians outside of Subaru said there were no problems with my suspension. So I am certain that Subaru tried to lie to me and sell me something I don't need. It looks like they are now under a different management as the old employees are not there anymore. The old advisors used to be honest and now things have changed. It use to be busy but now it is not. I went here to service my vehicle because I thought I could trust them, but that is no longer true. Please avoid this place if you value your money and don't want to be charge for something you don't need. More
Poor Customer Service since new Management I have 2017 Subaru Forester. Last year(2019) my windshield cracked spontaneously overnight. I contacted John Wedley who sadly is no longer working there. He was kind of enough to get my windshield replaced free of charge. Thanks John! 2 weeks ago, the windshield that was replaced cracked spontaneously overnight again! I wonder if it's the change in weather that's causing this. Anyway I attempted to contact Sebastian Campisi who took over for John. He has not bothered to reply to my email. I love my Forester but these defective Windshields are a real drag. So my next step is to see if my extended warranty will cover this and pay the $250 deductible. More
