The initial online communication was quick and very informative in order to assist us in converging on a vehicle. Our first contact and drive test was excellent and convinced us that a Subaru was the way to go. Bruno, our sales person was very respectful our time constraints and his soft sale approach was greatly appreciated and in line with our way to do business. Bruno was also very helpful in providing us an opportunity to conduct a second drive test to help us validate our decision. The price was fair. The vehicle preparation and pick up process was done professionally and in a timely fashion. Francis conducted a thorough walkthrough of the vehicle and finance agreement. Very pleasant experience. We are optimistic that the dealer will provide us the same level of service post purchase as they did during the purchase process. More

Damaged car for the price of a brand new one Worse car buying experience ever! Offered me a selection of other vehicles. By the time I responded they were no longer available. I had picked the 2017 sport model They wasted time for two weeks and finally I agreed to a car without the eyesight. They said it would be in next week. I get a call, they confirm that my car is ready and I can pick it up the next day at 2. But the night before after work I get a call telling me that they prepped the wrong car. Don't worry they said. We have yours and will have it ready in a few days. No compensation for the fact that I am now Car-less since I sold my previous one for the day of possession in anticipation of picking up the new one. They offer the shuttle service to take me from my home to my work but I work too early for them so: no. Not an option. I ask for a courtesy car. Not an option. Then the owner calls to tell me that not only is the car not in their lot but it also has a scratch on the roof. Get your stories straight!! Will they compensate? Not an option. But they will redo the paint job and leave me the car for the same price as the scratch-free model... Not an option for me. This is what happened: they got it last week, took it off the transport and likely scratched it and now they expect me to take it because they think I'm an idiot? I don't think so. I called another dealer thé same morning where I was supposed to pick up my car. They were happy to accommodate me. They had the 5-door Impreza sport-tech available in the lot (no scratch) and matched the price I was given by Subaru Outaouais. (Who btw refused to negotiate) These guys took me for a ride. They thought they could make all these bogus excuses and convince me to buy a damaged car for the price of a new one. I called the owner, canceled the transaction, requested that my deposit be refunded and he never apologized and almost hung up on me. Bravo for your top notch customer service. I will recommend to all my friends never to buy a car from you. Rather they should see the other two dealers in Ottawa. More

They lied to us about having consulted the rep from Subaru Canada and said that they could do nothing - even insinuated that we were neurotic. Finally went to Westboro Subaru. They actually did consult Subaru Canada who confirmed that this series had a defect and graciously offered to repaint the whole car while we were on holiday. Would only recommend Subaru Outaouais to my worst enemy. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. More
