Poor service, and horrible customer experience. Brought in my 2008 Outback for repairs from a check engine light activated. Did the work, and did the recommended complementary repairs, and 1000$ and 2 days later, same engine problem code. Ooups they told me, and it will need a new catalytic converter, for 2000$ additional. Complete lack of rigor & professionalism. Misdiagnosed, & lack of thoroughness. Insult to injury, they requested my email for a post service survey, and I explicitly demanded that under no circumstances no marketing emails be sent, and 2 weeks later, boom. They breached the anti spam laws. More

After having bought a vehicle from this dealership a few years prior we wanted to trade in our vehicle towards the purchase of a new car. After some negotiation, the sales guy was not able to make any pricing decisions so the manager came out. He flatly refused to acknowledge the invoice pricing from Uhaggle. He claimed the numbers were made up, said they was no holdback profit, no profit on the PDI/Freight of $1660, then proceeded to low ball us on the trade in by offering us half the wholesale value. The discussion turned negative and he walked away, and we walked out of the dealership. So bottom line with Subaru Outaouais: This dealership does not recognize any sort of customer loyalty for return customers. They do not accept negotiating from invoicing pricing. They expect you to pay MSRP. Therefore you should consider taking your business elsewhere if you expect to get any sort of deal less than MSRP. More
Scheduled a test drive and left without a test drive ! I took the time to schedule a test drive of the Impreza and got there right on time just to be told by the sales representative that we cannot proceed I took the time to schedule a test drive of the Impreza and got there right on time just to be told by the sales representative that we cannot proceed with the test drive right away because he's waiting for a car buyer who's late and he had to finalize a transaction or to have the car picked-up or something. He actually asked me if there was anything I could do to keep me busy while he completes this other appointment and asked that I come back in 15-30 minutes or even wanted to re-scheduled. I asked for another sales representative and I was told no one else was available even though I could see other staff in their offices. I had a quick look at the car at that's it. I left without my test drive that I had scheduled for. More
Quite an unpleasant experience. Delivery time had Quite an unpleasant experience. Delivery time had been expected at two weeks after sale. Took over six. No follow-ups on their part. Calls request Quite an unpleasant experience. Delivery time had been expected at two weeks after sale. Took over six. No follow-ups on their part. Calls requesting status on delivery of vehicle not returned. I was disappointed when I couldn't even get a "We're sorry, but we're looking out for you." sort of thing. I can appreciate that sometimes there are some delays. But the dealership playing a passive role gave me the sense that they could care less. I also took the vehicle in for an oil change. The personnel was not very accomodating. I also suspect that they did nothing more than change the oil - where usually they will conduct a multi-point visual inspection. For instance, tire pressure. All four tires were off when I took it in (a kind of test to confirm my suspicions). I checked them as soon as I picked up the car and the pressure hadn't changed. I had also requested they check ratles and squeaks in some of the pilars and noise from the clutch pedal (the car was a few months old, after all). My observations were dismissed without them even taking a few minutes to look into them. They are all fairly minor details that give the overall negative experience. The salesman was nice, though. But then again, he's the one who stood to lose his commission. This might sound odd, but I'd be left feeling like it was all an incnvenience for them, or that they were doing me a favor by letting me do business with them. More
