I want to draw attention to the supportive assistance provided by the team at the Stratford Hyundai, Service Department. Last week I noticed a concerning message on my instrument panel. I was sure I had provided by the team at the Stratford Hyundai, Service Department. Last week I noticed a concerning message on my instrument panel. I was sure I had mistakenly pushed some button to get this message. I went to my local dealership but given I did not have an appointment with a technician they were too busy to look at my car. I called Stratford Hyundai where I purchased my car and they immediately provided support: Tim tried to problem solve with me over the phone but I was not able to get this message off my instrument panel. I asked if it would be possible for someone at the service department to look at my car if I came to Stratford. Tim advised yes, a technician could look at my car. I live an hour from Stratford and when I arrived Meg ,the technician, immediately came out to my car and showed me what button I had accidentally pushed. Meg also showed me how to correct this problem. This process took 5-10 minutes. Later that day Tim text me to find out if I was satisfied with the resolution of the problem. Tim and Meg went above and beyond to provide assistance and support. I’m glad I purchased my car at Stratford Hyundai, but instead of changing to my local dealership I continue to drive the hour to the Stratford dealership because of their Service Department which is dedicated to providing assistance to customers. When it’s time for me to purchase a new car I will do so at Stratford Hyundai, given I know the quality of service and support I have always received over the past 6 years that I have been attending the Service Department for regular car maintenance. Thank you again Tim and Meg for taking the time to help me and ensuring that I was satisfied that the problem had been resolved to my satisfaction. Sincerely Very Satisfied Customer More

The weather miserable, Jim was right out to see if he could help. I can say he wasn’t pushy but checked in with me a few days later to see if I wanted to book an appointment. Needless to say an appointment was booked and a Kona N Line was purchased. But that’s not all! He offers after the sale to continue answering any questions or concerns. Highly recommend as your go to salesman. More

The salesmen use many deceptive techniques to get the sale and several additional items are added to the purchase price. I do acknowledge it is the customers responsibility to know what they are signing but the dealership should be more customer focused. If you are not a strong negotiator avoid purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. More

I urge all potential customers to take the time to review each and every entry on the BILL OF SALE prior to signing. This dealership had added: EXTENDED WARRANTY, PROTECTION PACKAGE, and WINTER PACKAGE, which amounted to over $6,000.00 to the total purchase price. I was fortunate to catch this and had two of these charges removed, but failed to notice the exorbitant WARRANTY CHARGE. I feel this dealership was very deceptive in its dealings with me. I do acknowledge it is the customer's responsibility but the dealership also should be more customer focused. Just a heads up for any future customer. More
During my 70 plus years on this planet, I have bought a lot of cars, and met a lot of salesmen and women. But this latest car purchasing venture was the absolute best! I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew lot of cars, and met a lot of salesmen and women. But this latest car purchasing venture was the absolute best! I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Kennery. Stay away from the service Dept. I bought a 2023 Elantra N line in Stratford. I live 2 hrs from Stratford so my first service was done where I live locally. From the start I felt my I bought a 2023 Elantra N line in Stratford. I live 2 hrs from Stratford so my first service was done where I live locally. From the start I felt my brakes were spongy, shuttered a few times stopping and a constant tapping noise every time I hit the brakes. I asked my local dealer to perform a brake inspection. 3 licensed Hyundai mechanic were shocked what had been done to them by Stratford when performing the PDI when it arrived there. My brakes had been extremely over lubed so much so they took pictures as proof. Repeatedly said it had to have been an apprentice as a licensed mechanic never would have put that much oil on them. My local dealer cleaned as best they could but pads needed replacing and front rotors were damaged as a result. This is bought brand new and only at 6,000 km. I have been 4 months fighting with service manager to get what I paid for. I have caught him in several and I mean several lies. He from first day would overturn emails. I’ve had to drive to Stratford and visit. His deception of what he was going to do was unbelievable. . I will get this issued resolved as I have solid documentation but wonder what if I was a customer who didn’t have the backing of other Hyundai mechanics. I’m sure they would have I am sure many did as I can tell you he does lie. This is not my first Hyundai but had it been I’m sure it would have been my last. Do not deal with Stratford if your only recourse is to have to use their service Dept. More

Very friendly, courteous and respectful. Explained in layman’s terms everything they did to service my vehicle. If I could give negative stars I would. Took my car in after having them fix my transmission cooler line in April as it was acting as though it was low on fluid. They "put it on the code reader" and came back telling me it was my turbo causing the problem and would cost me $800-$1500 to fix and the transmission was fine. I decided to get a second opinion as something didn't feel right about it. The shop i took it to checked out the turbo and the transmission (considering that was what they had worked on, it makes sense) the turbo was fine other than the intake clamp was the wrong size. The trany fluid, however, was black and full of debris causing the transmission to work too hard to shift gears. When I brought this to the attention of the dealership, the service manager simply said "I don't see a work order for this, so what do you want me to do?" My advice to all looking to buy a hyundai, DON'T DEAL WITH STRATFORD! cars are over priced and service department will screw you! And to top it off they cracked my windshield and won't do anything about it. More
