Greedy dealership of calgary So we booked a car with the dealership that was coming into the stock no matter if we have bought the car or not. Couple days later we choose not to b So we booked a car with the dealership that was coming into the stock no matter if we have bought the car or not. Couple days later we choose not to buy the car due to having some certain changes in our priority. We went and talked to Adam McMillan the sales manager who refused to give our deposit back even though the car was not delivered or on their lot. During the booking the sales person asked to leave $10000as a deposit instead we left $3000 and did not mention it was not refundable. The manager said that he will talk to the owner which he never did and the dealership manager never returned the call or replied to the email that was sent. So if anyone is planning on buying a car from this dealership be really carefull when leaving a deposit because they are a bunch of greedy people More

Poor service I bought a used car from stampede Toyota, a week in i had problems with certain electrical functions in my car. I tried calling them to ask but no one I bought a used car from stampede Toyota, a week in i had problems with certain electrical functions in my car. I tried calling them to ask but no one picked up, i left several voice mails in the end i had to replace all the fuses myself. Few months down the road my alternator went and i tried to call them again, same thing no answers on any of my calls after several months of calling them i finally had to pay for the fix out of my own pocket. This dealership does not check their pre-owned cars do not buy from them, later i found out they were suppose to show me a mechanical assessment which they also did not. Stampede Toyota is ruining the brand they are running. Josh buccanon or however you spell his name was the one who was working with me, worse service I've ever received. If you guys want to improve your service maybe you should learn how to pick up a simple phone call or even have respect and call your customers back after leaving voice mails. No respect for your customers at all. More

Brought my car in for an oil change at 8am, when checking my car in the advisor asked me if I would be staying at the dealership or if I would need a shuttle. Me thinking that it is just a simple oil change and won't take too long I decided to stay at the dealership (also brought my daughter because I promised her we would have a daddy-daughter day). 1 hour went by, much of the people who arrived at the same time as me had already left, it was busy so I didn't think anything of it. An hour later I started to get concerned because I did not hear anything. At 10:30 I asked the same advisor what was going on with my car, he then told me that it was booked as an all day job and probably won't be done until 3, do you think that would have been communicated to me at time of drop off? NO. 10:45 I told him I want my car back because I didn't want my day to be ruined. But somehow I was told that my car was just brought into the shop and would take around 30 mins. Finally I got my car back around 12 and when I asked for an explanation as to why this took so long I was not offered an apology, but the advisor blamed ME because apparently I booked the appointment wrong. I got in contact with the Service Manager and explained my problem, he told me he would get back to me the next day, I have not heard from them since. I was going to purchase my next Toyota from Stampede, but I will definitely go elsewhere EDIT Talked to the manager and they offered to make it right, Still not happy that my day was shot but appreciate the effort More
3 weeks ago I went in planning to by a new highlander . Went for a small test drive. I liked it. Asked for the best price quote as I was serious about buying. The best price was $53000 all in. I asked was that the best price and the salesperson said well you can trade in your 2 month old toyota truck (1400kms). I said I have some equity in it. The salesman thoroughly excited ran and got his manager and did an appraisal. Came back $4000 below the the lowest black book value and market value. Then i got called over to the service manger or public sales area desk station, where 5 sales employee really went to work on me. The highlander price brand new is firm and plus it is a toyota so you have to pay you make that back in resale. My response was how come the under valuation appraisal of my 2 month old toyota truck does not follow their logic..... All 5 salesman all attacked at once, ya 5 people employed at Stampede Toyota trying saying anything and everything for me to pay full value for the highlander and give them my 2 month old truck at such a loss. Forgetting about the price unfairness,Im not impressed with bully tactics applied 3 weeks ago at Stampede Toyota and thought people should be aware. I really considering a vehicle brand change now. More
