The no added costs is a fiction as they tacked on a $599 theft insurance from FCPP in Sherwood Park, told us it was non negotiable. I called the insurance company and found out it was voluntary and the dealership would refund the money. Well we are still waiting for the refund, been over a week. More

My wife just came home shaking and in tears after being laughed at by their service manager Jeff and kicked out and told never to come back by their Sales manager Scott. She has had nothing but problems with this piece of garbage Dodge Journey they pressured her into purchasing two years ago. It has literally NEVER run right and they could care less. Over the two years this thing has had repair after repair at Spruce Grove Hyundai/go auto all without solving the issues shes experienced from the start. Granted the dealership ate a lot of those repair costs but the bottom line is this Journey should never have been cleared for resale in the first place. We'd just given up on this dealership and wanted nothing to do with them after the last round of repairs but the Journey's engine light started coming on recently and beeping and the vehicle would start shaking so we felt we should bring it in again...foolishly thinking they'd do the right thing and fix the problem, or even better get us into something half decent after the xxxx this "deal" and piece of junk Journey has put her through. So she brought it in asking them to repair the issue. They changed the spark plugs and a gasket and changed the oil and called it fixed. $600 later she drove it home, 6 km, and the engine light came on again, beeping and shaking. She brought it back to them and they now found there was a faulty injector that needed to be replaced...for another $600 plus a $100 inspection fee! Why didnt they find that 2 days previous when it was in for the same issue?! Why did they just replace the spark plugs? The place is a joke. They just want your money, period. They had the opportunity to just do the right thing and get her into a half decent ride but would rather treat her like garbage and kick her out of the place when she gets upset about being charged another $600 just 2 days after she just spent $600 to get the same issue fixed! All of our family and friends will be warned about this place. Those involved could've just done the right thing, admitted they screwed up and put her in something else. Oh! they also charged her basically 4 times what this piece of **** is worth. Lessons learned... and Scott, curious if you'd pick on a woman if her husband was there. More

The sales team would not even let me test drive the car around the block, to get a feel for the car and see if I even liked it without singing %90 of the paperwork and a huge deposit. They did not check my license, or credit or anything, Just flat out refused. Needless to it was a huge waste of time and very unprofessional. Did not buy the car off of principal alone. Save your time and money for a more customer friendly dealership. More

I was in the market last weekend for a used car and had a very negative experience at Spruce Grove Hyundai. It started with the sales guy, Casey, trying to introduce himself from across the lot out of normal hearing range. Within four minutes of talking with him he expressed “It’s Saturday and it’s going to get busy. Are you looking or ready to buy?” I was interested in a particular brand and was comparing three/four models on the lot. Casey was very pushy and aggressively trying to get us inside before we even decided on which model, we wanted to test drive or finish looking over the car. Not wanting to proceed with Casey, I pointed out another potential customer on the lot that could use his assistance. He quickly told me I was his customer and he wouldn’t be leaving me. I went on to ask about another staff member that we could work with. Again, he stated “I’m with you.” We picked a model that I wanted to test drive. Now he had to rush us into the building for copies of our licenses. I truly understand the policy of taking copies when car shopping, I just don’t like being aggressively pushed around. It’s not my first or last auto purchase transaction so I understand how it works. I had to tell him to “slow it down as we are not in a rush to sign a deal before we explore all of the facts.” He then became very condescending with a lot of attitude that made the entire experience awkward – we should have left at this point. After the test drive, he wanted to review the numbers. I reminded him of a golf ball sized crack on the driver’s side windshield which he responded, “I’ll have my manager review that with you when you’re ready to buy.” Sales Manager, Scott, came over to join the discussion. He made it crystal clear if I wanted to purchase the car I would need to pay for a new windshield or take it as is. Scott did offer to provide me with a quote from his parts department. I was completely shocked with the attitude so made the decision to move on as there is always another car elsewhere. Before leaving, Casey scolded me with a raised voice “I TOLD YOU…I DISCLOSED THE CRACKED WINDSHIELD SO IT’S NOT OUR ISSUE…I TOLD YOU…WHY DO YOU HATE DEALERSHIPS SO MUCH…SO YOU DON’T WANT ME TO HOLD IT FOR YOU…” I was absolutely mind blown at his attitude. We went home and got online, found similar cars but way bigger selection at Sherwood Park VW. Sophear (Sales Pro) and Danny (Sales Manager) at Sherwood Park VW are true professionals. Scammed Run from this place. I purchased a 2015 Altima and the actual cost of a service warranty was misrepresented to me. Within the 30 days the car had a Run from this place. Within the 30 days the car had a transmission problem that they told me I would have to take to a Nissan dealer to get fixed. They refused to honour the 30 day exchange guarantee. I fail to see how a $6000 job that they "couldn't make right" doesn't fit into the exchange!! I would never recommend this place to anyone and would never deal with them again as I do not trust them at all. More
