My salesman Mitchelle Santiago was friendly and professional. He didn't push me into buying anything I didn't want and made sure I got the best deal on my car. He sold me a beautiful car for a great price and I would defiantly recommend doing business with him. I know I will be coming back to Southtown when purchasing another vehicle. More

These guys charged me $720 just to change the ignition lock and it took 7 days to do it. After picking up my vehicle, now the "check engine light" is on... Would not recommend to anyone unless you want to lock and it took 7 days to do it. After picking up my vehicle, now the "check engine light" is on... With a referral system, both parties are supposed to get $500 in credit toward the purchase of the vehicle, parts, or service. I have had three experiences with this dealership not honour the referral system. I strongly recommend selecting a different dealership as otherwise I have had great experience with Hyundai and GoAuto. For the details: Over the last two years, my husband and I have purchased two vehicles and referred a friend. When I purchased my first vehicle, I was referred and they claimed that since I didn't bring the referral number up immediately when I first started talking to a sales associate, I couldn't use my referral number and get the discount. So, when I referred my friend, we made sure that he brought up the referral number right away. They made my friend believe that both he and I were getting the referral credits. Recently I went to use my $500 referral credit to have a command start put in. I talked to three different individuals in advance saying I wanted to use my $500 credit, each saying it was ok. It was even on all the paperwork I signed. After they had inserted the command start, they told me I had no referral credits on my account. This is an error as two months earlier I had referred a friend who provided all the appropriate information and received his side of the referral credits. In my conversation with the general manager about this issue (referring a friend and not getting the credits), he was very rude, called me a liar, contradicted himself MANY times in the conversation, and was not willing to make ANY effort to rectify their "error" at all. I had to pay the full cost (the extra $500) in order to get my car back. After talking to my friend whom I referred, we also found out that they didn't honour his referral credits after had he referred someone and wanted to use his referral credits to put in a command start. They did the EXACT same thing to him. About the product: The basic remote start was EXTREMELY expensive at $750 for the basic model it is (lock, unlock, start). I only purchased it from here because I had the $500 discount I was suppose to be able to use. The "unlock trunk" feature does not work, which they did not tell me until after it was installed. For this cost, you can buy much higher quality remote starts, such as a Titan two-way remote start with an LCD screen, 4,000 feet range, and smart-phone capability. I was completely ripped off. I also had to fight to get any type of manual for the remote start. About the service: The car was not finished on time. I dropped by car off at 8:30am and I was told to bring the loner car back by 4:00pm, which I did, and then I had to wait at the shop for another hour because they were not finished installing the remote. They ended up having my car for 8.5 hours that day. The only benefit from this entire experience was that they washed the exterior of my car for me. Indeed, a $500 car wash... I strongly recommend you avoid this dealership ENTIRELY. They are in the practice of blatantly ripping people off. More
I was looking to buy my first car. After going though some pretty horrific car accidents in winter I knew I wanted a bigger vehicle with all wheel drive. Those were my two must haves. After looking at some pretty horrific car accidents in winter I knew I wanted a bigger vehicle with all wheel drive. Those were my two must haves. After looking at countless cars and SUV's I decided that I wanted a Hyundai Tucson. Funny enough Southtown Hyundai was the first place I went looking and ended up being the dealership I came back too after my hunt for the right car was over. The friendly low pressure atmosphere made buying my first car an exciting experience. Mike was great and let me ask even the silly questions without judgement. I had a great experience here and would definitely recommend Southtown Hyundai to anyone looking for a car! More

But we bought a 2012 tucson and a 2010 Hyundai elantra sport..... tucson brand new 200 km on it and elantra 40 000 km.... so far both been in for service. Suv twice car 3times. In less than a yr for car and 14 months for suv. Service there is THE WORST EVER!!!!!! if really interested in a hyundai I REALLY recommend another city or another dealer...... andthey try and black mail you on giving them a GOOD review by suckering you into an additional 150 $ on your "GO AUTO" card..... so these 4+stars of reviews. .... I'd def put $$$ they got an extra $$$ on their go auto card. Thus is Alberta i don't need an extra 150 $ in go auto money to lie and xxxxxxxx for service i never got and I dam well swear you or anyone else will never get!!!!!. I'd rant on my service experiences but if i did I would never be able to post this..... More
I have been given the run around in regards to my cars warranty and rental vehicle. My engine blew up on Oct.26,2013. Since I am twenty years of age, Hyundai cannot lend me a rental. So, I specifically as warranty and rental vehicle. My engine blew up on Oct.26,2013. Since I am twenty years of age, Hyundai cannot lend me a rental. So, I specifically asked if I find my own rental company who can rent to me, will Hyundai reimburse me? The answer Shaun gave me was no. The policy states that yes, in-fact they will up to five days and for $30 a day and I even contacted head office who informed me of this policy. I have been without a car for exactly two weeks as of today and am very unsatisfied with Hyundai. I will never purchase a Hyundai again and as soon as my engine is REPLACED, I will be trading in this piece of garbage car along with the horrible service I have received. I feel very discriminated and ostracized against considering I am a young female. More
