Told them i wanted a 7 seater vehicle had a journey in mind told the sales guy he said it was only a 5 seater (found out after it was too late it was in fact a 7 seater with the 3rd row) so i was sold a jeep patriot. I like the patriots so fine i will take it. Get to the dealership to sign the finance papers, sitting in the finance office and the guy starts going over the "lease" um excuse me? I wasnt told that! So I got a big huge spiel about how with my credit my co-signers credit we had to do a lease blah blah blah, fine whatever I'm upset I wasn't told before I drove 2.5 hours there. Go and pick up my vehicle June 4th 2019 everything seems fine. They're mechanic inspections at everything was 100%. June 5th first thing in the morning my brakes start squealing. Call the dealership they said they'll look into it and get back to me on what they can do. Try getting a hold of them for 3 weeks keep getting told someone will call me back nobody ever calls me back. Finally after 3 weeks I get mad over no customer service they finally message me back saying they can't do anything about it. So my breaks are squealing less then 24 hours after purchase and they won't even look at them!!! STAY AWAY!!! NO COMMUNICATION OR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!!! ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR VEHICLE THEY ARE DONE WITH YOU!!!!! More
Was excited for my 1st Vehicle Was super excited when I went to buy my 1st Vehicle. It's taken me 6 months to write a review but these things beed to be said. Approximately 28 day Was super excited when I went to buy my 1st Vehicle. It's taken me 6 months to write a review but these things beed to be said. Approximately 28 days after I bought my 2016 Dodge Journey I went out to start it and it was dead. After getting it back to the dealership I was assured NOTHING was wrong with it. Long story short after 3 more times of it not starting. I took it to ANOTHER dealership where they found a DEFECTIVE battery. The other dealership happily fixed it. As someone who is fighting Cancer driving a vehicle like that with my 9 year old son is ridiculous. I was sent home with ONE piece of paperwork. I got my vehicle on December 17th . I received my Paperwork on June 14th. After I asked for it. When I bought my car I told the dealership Winter Tires were a non negotiable. What did I get - ALL SEASONS. So I had to spend more money to get SAFE tires. I was lead to believe I had additional services yet when I called I was told that I did NOT! If I could leave no stars I would. I feel this dealership is dishonest and once the ink is signed they will deflect ANY responsibility. Tanya Lafontaine More

It made us loose control and almost crash into the people next to us. We called them profusely as they wouldn’t get back to us & finally they offered to fix it & give us a loaner vehicle in the meantime. Two days later they called us and said they weren’t going to fix it and the total cost to fix it would be more than 2000$ for the cost of the air bag and an air line to be fixed. After writing horrible reviews of them on the internet on more than one internet source they called us & had decided to fix it for free of charge. I still would not recommend them but I am happy that they finally fixed it after selling us an unreliable vehicle. More

Bought my car at the end of the March so they were very busy and seemed to rush. Two days after purchase called to get sales agreement the finance person advised he mailed it out, waited never received anything. 3 weeks later I called them again and the receptionist said she had a piece of mail there for me that was returned, no one ever contacted me I had to contact them. Went in on my lunch break to get this and found they set up my contract under the wrong address also added a tire and rim warranty for $1200. went right in an spoke with the finance rep he said he would get it fixed and call me back on the Monday (was in on April 25th) waited till the Tuesday April 30th and called finance back he said they were really busy (as end of the month so understandable) but he would talk to his manager and get back to me by the Thursday. May 2nd no contact yet again made. I then on May 9th emailed finance several times to just be ignored and not contacted back and currently have my contract under the wrong address and out $1200. After writing a review on google fianlly had Finance manager call me said he was going to follow up with rep and call me back. This was a week and half ago now it is may 22 2019 and have never recieved any contact back from this dealership. I had a similar issue with a ford dealership also on a tire and rim warrenty that was added and they had it removed and credited back to me as it was still in the cool off time. Southtown made sure to not get me my infomation so they could scam their customers. More

They had new vehicles mixed in with customers vehicles on the service side and it was impossible to know what was actually for sale. We went in on a customer appreciation weekend and as soon as we walked into the dealership it screamed scammy to me. It was dirty and unpleasant inside. Had we had a good sales man, i likely wouldnt have cared as much about that stuff but we had the worst sales man ive ever encountered, and the fact that the dealership allows the kind of behaviour thst this guy displayed, speaks to who they are as a dealership overall. Our salesman was AARON BOUVIER . I wouldn't say that he wasnt a nice person but he was incredibly obnoxious. My husband and i are a young couple and dont get me wrong, we swear and dont get offended by much, but literally every second word was the f word. The first 10 times I laughed and brushed it off but then it became uncomfortable when he continued. Then one of his coworkers beside him said something and when he walked away, Aaron called him a "xxxxing xxxxxx who has adhd and goes crazy when he doesnt take his meds." Shortly after, my husband pointed to another one of the salesmans who he thought he recognized and Aaron looked and said "oh that fat xxxx?" I wouldnt even say those things outside of work, let alone AT MY JOB. Completely unprofessional. Then Aaron asked us what kind of truck we wanted and what we absolutely did not want in a truck. We told him what we wanted and didnt want (we wanted a used ram, with an actual console in the middle, NOT a folding seat in the middle). We didn't think we were asking for much, its not like we were being incredibly picky. The first truck he showed us was brand new, was plain jane inside, with folding seat in middle. Complete opposite of what we asked for. We told him we didnt that but he told us we would love it and insisted we test drive it so we did. After this, we looked at one truck that we liked but had a huge dent in the back so we asked him if there wasnt anything comparable he could show us and his answer was "we have whatevers out there." Between the disaster of a parking lot and having several ram trucks, we werent going to look at every single truck and thats literally his job to show us what's available... finally he says he had found a truck he thinks we will like but said "this will be the last truck im showing you". If we are spending $35k plus on a truck, we should be able to look at more than 3 trucks. He showed us the truck he thought wed like, and from what we could see, we did like it, but the keys were "locked in service for the weekend" so we couldn't test drive it. We did like the truck so we told him that we would come back on monday when wed be able to test drive it and we apologized for wasting his time. He proceeded to argue with me about why we should just sign a contract on it "subject to test drive" and thst it would be checked by a mechnic, so "we shouldnt worry about that". After telling him no sorry we would like to test drive it first, he got pouty and rude and said "its okay, ive had people waste my time before but most of my customers arent as picky as you". We only looked at 3 trucks! Because of this guy, i will never return to this dealership. More
They always find a way to get out of warranty coverage. Sliding door mechanism was jammed and I wasn't able to open the door. Still under warranty but they claimed it was the dirt bunging up the door. Class Sliding door mechanism was jammed and I wasn't able to open the door. Overall terrible experience A bit of a long review however this needs to be public knowledge. We recently bought a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel from them after spending 6 hours at the dealership on a Saturday waiting for the financing to go through my boyfriend who is a mechanic went to check to see if the truck already had the undercoating installed that had been offered to us. When he was looking under the truck he noticed some coolant he got back and mentioned it to the finance guy who talked to service and they said some must have been spilt during the inspection okay fair enough. We were assured time and time again that the truck was fully inspected. Well we go to pick up the truck on the following Monday we’re told we’re all good to go so we start the truck with the starter and it almost immediately shuts off. Turns out the safety shut off over rid the starter because there was no fuel in the truck. When the lady we dealt with in sales the truck threw a check engine light so they put in in the shop and found it was only a battery code from the truck being dead. We take the truck home and the next day my boyfriend finds where the coolant was coming from and fixed it himself and then a couple days later when we were driving a service electronic breaking message kept coming up and the cruise control would not work so we booked it in to be serviced. When we brought in the truck they got us to pull up to the door making it seem like the truck was going to be seen today like the lady I booked it with said they had time to do that Friday. We hung out in the city because we do not live close to the dealership and were called a few hours later saying the truck was not going to be seen until Monday to top it if they had no loaner vehicles and would not rent us anything to drive. The dealership reset the computer that was causing the problem and In the mean time they found a transmission leak that was missed by the first person who inspected the truck. We get the truck back and a day later it is doing something it wasn’t doing before the computer update the screen on the dash is flashing. Turns out it is the gauge cluster that they quoted us $1600 for and they will not do anything about it or for us. Not even an offer to cover the cost of labor which I have been informed by another dealership that it is only a 1 our job. Needless to say we do not recommend Southtown Chrysler to anyone as it has been an overall terrible experience from the time we signed the papers. Not only were major things over looked in their inspection they do not do anything to help out their customers. In the long run we were sold a truck that never should have passed an inspection. We were told that we’d be contacted about our experience and 3 weeks later still have not been. And to be clear Donovan in service was the only person who actually tried to help us out. More
Wrong email address provided for complaints Contacting regarding Google review, here is the issue, saw a car on your website contacted southtown dealership and go auto to confirm If the car av Contacting regarding Google review, here is the issue, saw a car on your website contacted southtown dealership and go auto to confirm If the car available, later when I started towards Chrysler showroom, manager called me and said the car is paid off, ok I'm travelling way far right? And I said I would be there on time and also said I would be starting my journey too, remember it was -35 with intense snow. Went there anyways and looked upon another car which was not detailed but the guys said it was all good enough. I looked into in it was mechanically not that good and not detailed and wanted above average market rate for that car? Ok anyways I was willing to buy it right, then I negotiated that let's say I can go from 6k to 6500$ inclusive taxes. But the manager wasn't ready to give up 500$ difference? Anyways, even if I bought the vehicle it needed to be detailed and need to do little bit works. After all the main thing here is they showed a different car on the website, but when I took a closer look onto the car it was damaged and the colour was different, same model though lol, uploaded from Google images straight up? week later I see the exact car which was been paid off on the website again????? What's up with that? Poor clumsy website editors out there or what? Remember, customers put thier entire fortune on a car which reperest their needs and life. How can I go to another Chrysler again??? How can I reccomend one? EXPLAIN PLEASE!!! So what should I call dealership or STEALERSHIP? you explain sir. Thank you. Not being rude, I'm hurtful of the experience. More
