**WORSE DEALSERSHIP IN OTTAWA, DO NOT PURCHASE OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THESE CROOKS** Let me be the one to introduce you to a Finance Manager at Southbank Dodge (Yvan Zechel) and his deceptive sales pr YOUR VEHICLE WITH THESE CROOKS** Let me be the one to introduce you to a Finance Manager at Southbank Dodge (Yvan Zechel) and his deceptive sales practices. While sitting in Finance Manager's office after I agreed to purchase the 4Runner, he presented me with an extended warranty which I politely declined as this is a Toyota, the most reliable vehicle on the market. I then presented and requested that I would like 4 new winter rims (black in color) and 4 winter tires included in the deal. The agreement was the Finance Manager would take it away and see what could be done as part of the deal. The following morning, I was contacted on my cell phone to present me with the following deal, which was an extended warranty at a reduced price down to $1,200 and including the request of 4 new black winter rims and 4 new winter tires. To quote the words that were used by the Finance Manager, “I’ve worked on the deal to include your winter tires and rims and the warranty into 1 price, which will show the tires and rims at $0 on your bill of sale and the warranty will show as $2,295. Not to worry, I’ve deducted the warranty to $1,200 and included the winter rims and tires into the price. How does that sound?”. I was quite thankful that he was able to make both work, at $1,200 for a warranty, why not, and asked for him to proceed. At that time, I wrote down the deal on a post it note, and made sure to attach it to my bill of sale when I arrived at home as I found it odd that the winter tire package was showing $0 and the warranty, which was quoted to me at $1,200 was showing $2,295. I even went to the extent of asking him when I picked up the vehicle why the tires and rims were showing at $0, he reassured me again that it was within the warranty price and to call in the fall to order my 4 new winter rims and tires. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I called to order my 4 new winter rims and tires. Dealt with a fantastic lady in service, she confirmed the tires and rims had been ordered and were waiting to be installed. I scheduled an appointment for November 17th at 8:30am to have them installed and to do an oil change. Upon my arrival, I dealt with an amazing and kind service advisor, he confirmed the tires and rims were ready to go and would contact me by end of day to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at 3:45pm, spoke with the service advisor and paid for the oil change. I walked up to my vehicle to find old rusty rims and used tires installed (pictures attached) on my beautiful 4Runner which prompted me to walk back inside the dealership to inquire why there was used rims and tires on my vehicle. Another Finance Manager was present at the time and witnessed the events of my complaint. The Service Advisor, Finance Manager and the Fleet advisor all said this was unacceptable and would find a resolution immediately. The Service Advisor asked me to send him pictures via email and would get back to me immediately. I sent the email moments after. The Service Advisor called me to advise that the Sales Manager and Service Manager were reviewing and would get back to me on what happened. To my surprise I received a call from the Sales Manager asking me what happened and notifying me that he would get to the bottom of it. I then received a call from the Finance Manager and the Sales Manager on Thursday evening (November 22nd, 2021) explaining to me that these tires were provided with the vehicle, which was never discussed with me at any point of time during the vehicle sale in May nor during any other interaction i’ve had with your dealership. I was then told that the warranty with rims and tires included wouldn't have been a deal the Finance Manager would make. Which completely boggled my mind as I clearly recall the conversation in his office and the following morning on my cell phone sitting at my desk and the note I wrote myself to be sure I would be covered. 4 emails and 1 call later, I have yet to hear from anyone. Therefore, hence my complaint. Please stay far away from this dealership. More
In the past thirty years we have bought our Jeeps at the same dealership . When we arrived to see the Jeep we had identified, one employer had left with it for the weekend. We then visited two others but we’re most impressed with the one on Johnston rd, Southbank Dodge Chrysler. As you walk in you feel important! There was music and a friendly atmosphere.!You felt energized! No one was running after you or pressuring you. We met Justice, a sales person, who was the least pressured salesman I have ever met. We were most impressed with the manager, Troy Charlebois! He was professional and went out of his way to make the best deal we could possibly have. He was also bilingual. That young man, will be the district manager of Jeep one day. He has a QE that is representative of a great leader. It was a win , win situation! Many thanks to Al, the accountant that was most respectful of our needs and adhered to our wishes! No pressure, yet again! You made everything possible! You are a gem! Will we go back! You bet ! We bought a Jeep of the year and went up one notch , to a Jeep Summit! Thank you! We even got a gift before leaving! We left with a feeling that we had made a great bargain and that we were not the catch of the day as we have sometimes felt when buying a car. We have purchased both our vehicles at South Bank and the service was excellent. The sales manager Troy Charlebois has went above and beyond to make sure ever little detail was taken care of, not only at th service was excellent. The service department was courteous, professional and knowledgeable . I would recommend this dealership for anyone thinking about purchasing either a new or used vehicle and also if you are looking to have service done. More
I had a wonderful experience at Southbank Dodge. Kal and Justice were excellent!!! They had a great sense of humour and answered all of my questions....and I had a lot of them LOL They also made it incredib Justice were excellent!!!
