Paul Curry makes it right! I bought a used vehicle from Southbank and was less than impressed with how things went. Luckily I met Paul Curry who ended up being a breath of fresh air and made my experience tolerable. I said that I "wouldn't" recommend this dealership but if any of the sales people at Southbank are as committed to customer service as Paul(finance department) is than I would gladly change my opinion on that. The sales people/managers I met were not. After test driving my vehicle and negotiating a deal I came back to pick up my vehicle and found that the mint condition rims that were on the vehicle when I test drove it had been switched out for scratched and scuffed ones. I was told that the reason for this was because the tires that were on the vehicle "barely" passed(but still passed) the safety and they were trying to do me a favour by giving me better tires. Marginally better tires on brutal rims doesn't make much sense to me? Sounds like the classic "bait and switch". I asked them to put the other rims back on and they informed me that I would have to wait until the next day because all of their techs were gone home for the day. I didn't think that was an acceptable answer and eventually Patrick made a good decision and was able to get someone in to take care of the issue. Another small issue was when I pointed out to Khalid that there was no licence plate bracket on the front of the vehicle he told me that he would take care of it and ship it to me. When I called to confirm with him that it had been ordered and shipped he all but disappeared. I called multiple times and I left a phone message kindly asking him to call me back and just confirm that it had been done, he never called. I found this very strange because when I was inquiring about the vehicle(pre-purchase) he would always call me back within 5 minutes. In my opinion a good salesman will always pay attention to detail and communicate this with the customer, this didn't happen after I signed the paper. As I said earlier, I don't want to paint all of the people at Southbank with the same brush. Maybe if I had dealt with different people I would have had a more positive experience and I am sure that there are some good people there. I was lucky enough to have met Paul and my experience with him was great. Southbank should feel proud of the work that he puts in because he did more than his fair share when it came to making things come together in my case. He could have easily walked away and said "I'm just the finance guy", but he had a genuine desire to provide a positive customer experience. A sincere thank you to Paul Curry! More

I had a good experience purchasing a vehicle from from Mr.Dallaire. After that I dealt with Al Alqasem in Finance and he was very thorough with the payment and warranty and other information i needed to know. Once we had finished speaking I feel I understand everything perfectly. Good experience! The Bad: We had a misunderstanding on price at first and another salesman stepped in to "fix the problem" this gentlemen actually gave me a more expensive offer on the same vehicle and then tried switch it with another one that was significantly cheaper but that was not reflected in the price. Very sneaky! I have never seen so many different numbers. I ended up walking away. I called later that day to get the actual price because I was so confused after our negotiation. This salesman said he would call me back in 10 minutes. over an hour later Mr. Dallaire returned my call and we were able to come to an agreeable price on both sides. Had I not had that experience I would probably rate this dealership as a good one across the board. More

When we noticed a small chip in the windshield one week later, the GM told us to bring it in and not only would they fix it, but guarantee it as well! We are having another Jeep serviced at SB. Having issues with our Jeep left us feeling very confused and vulnerable. Dennis and the service crew have been great. They honoured are warranty (hassel-free) and suggested we replace the locking nuts since we didn't have the key that came with them (so I wouldn't be stranded on a road some night). Great service and suggestions with our best interests in mind. Not only will I have my Jeeps serviced here again - I'll be buying the next one here as well. When a company proves themselves as honourable and reliable - they deserve our business. Thank you guys for all your help! DB More

Solid RAM Dealerhip Recently after several months of identifying a truck I felt met my needs, I visited 2 dealerships who had almost identical machines. The contrast and styles of the two adjacent dealers was remarkably different. The first dealership wasted about 2 days of my time and could not arrive at a deal since I had a trade-in, and they did everything to discredit its value. No one there could make a decision and the staff were uneducated in the vehicle they were selling. Next week, I perused the net and found an identical machine existing at Southbank Dodge. I examined the machine at my leisure and when I found it was exactly as ADVERTTISED I was greeted by Cam who knew the truck intimately in terms of its options and details, and even mentioned a shortcoming. We had a test drive where again he knew every feature of the machine I was not completely familiar with. The experience became even more professional at Southbank. Without pressure he asked me if I was interested. I indicated this machine met my expectations. Pat Butler then gave me an appraisal on my machine without any hesitation he had a value and this guy knows his stuff. We negotiated a reduced price on their RAM and within 30 minutes had consummated a contract with very fair value to both parties. There was to and fro and fairy tales on expectations. Just a solid business frame work and then I made a nominal deposit with Ala who did a remarkable job of explaining all the intricate details of this transactions and obtained financing at the best rate possible. Being fastidious on my maintenance I later asked for a synthetic oil change as I do not use mineral oil and the complied and provided plates free of charge whereas they could have easily asked for this cost. I could go on and on, and being an engineer most of our types are very inquisitive on details, quality and performance. Without a doubt, this is the premier Dodge and RAM dealership in Ottawa with Metro a close second. The rest (including my experience a week before) are not up to par, and I would recommend this dealership, and cadre of professional to anyone searching for a quality vehicle with management that can make a decision and not consume your precious time on gamesmanship and beurocratise. Outstanding Customer Service South Bank Dodge/Chrysler’s extensive vehicle inventory is what initially attracted me to the dealership but ultimately it was the sales team’s excell South Bank Dodge/Chrysler’s extensive vehicle inventory is what initially attracted me to the dealership but ultimately it was the sales team’s excellent customer service, professionalism, teamwork, unbeatable pricing, and low-pressure sales approach that made my recent purchase of a 2015 Challenger the most enjoyable new car purchase – ever! For example, if my sales representative was busy with another customer, other sales reps were eager to answer questions and ensure I was taken care of. Kudos to the management team for fostering teamwork in the workplace. Their customer service transparency certainly impressed me. When I was just about to close the deal, I discovered a small dent in the passenger door. The sales manager skillfully averted the potential deal breaker by reassuring me that it would be fixed 110%. And sure enough, they exceeded my highest expectations. I have to admit, it took a lot of trust to gamble with the appearance of my dream car. But when I took delivery of the vehicle, the door was flawless. In short, I will confidently buy another car from South Bank Dodge/Chrysler and highly recommend them.
