Took truck in for 4 wheel alignment I made an appointment for my truck for 7am for a 4 wheel alignment and asked the price they said 99.99 and so I dropped it off and said it had to be d I made an appointment for my truck for 7am for a 4 wheel alignment and asked the price they said 99.99 and so I dropped it off and said it had to be done at 3pm by the latest shouldn’t have been a problem for a simple alignment I called and got dropped off at 3 at the dealer and my truck still had not been in the shop and the advisor said the alignment was 139.99 I said that’s not What you quoted me and he was not willing to honor his quote saying it was a heavy duty alignment which is bs I talked to the advisor very upset and he said they would get it in right away and it would only be a half hour I waited 15 min and walked out back to see my truck and it was still not in the shop and 3 mechanics were in there including the one that was supposed to be working on my truck and they were fixing a dirt bike instead I took my truck without the alignment done and left what an absolute waste of time I would never take my truck or ever recommend this dealer More
High way Robbery make sure to get things in writing I had a recall on a truck and this place was the only place could do the recall. Unfortunately the truck was not fixable but I end up paying close to $200 just to charge the battery. They said their hourly rate is $192 and it took them 1 1/2 just to look at the truck. They need competent Mechanic that it should not take 1 1/2 to know the car needs a new battery. Its a high way robbery to pay $200 just for them to charge the battery. Even on the receipt it says it has battery problem but they keep saying that the Mechanic worked on it which not sure what exactly they did. I should have known and read the review about this place but sending them the truck. Those positive reviews are all done by them. Spoke to Chris and he didnt care to know other than how will he receive the money. Now they will get all their Team to write positive review to over come this negative review. More

Service for Out-of-Town Client I drove last week from Windsor to Ottawa when a very noisy rear wheel bering was getting dangerously loud. I called the Southbank Service Dept.at 7:30 I drove last week from Windsor to Ottawa when a very noisy rear wheel bering was getting dangerously loud. I called the Southbank Service Dept.at 7:30 a.m. on a Friday asking if I could bring it in for a bering replacement that day since I was heading to New York state that afternoon and from there returning to Windsor. Despite having 40 vehicles scheduled for the day Service Consultant Dan O'Neil told me to bring it in and he would see what he could do. I left the van at 8:15 a.m. and at 3 p.m. I was advised that it was fixed. What a marvelous response from Southbank to assist us and insure that our travel schedule unfolded as planned. We are sooo appreciative and pass along a deserved "thank you" to Dan and his service tram for exceeding our expectations with such a late an unexpected need for a major repair. More

A stressful process made enjoyable When I arrived at Southbank Dodge Chrysler I was a little nervous as a younger customer but the staff there was so friendly and genuine. Nobody pressured me into anything and they were very fair as we negtioated a deal. I was helped by Kathryne Depres who made the whole thing a lot of fun and you could tell she really cared about the customer. She made sure I walked away with the perfect Jeep for a price that worked and I will definitely reccomend my friends and family visit her at Southbank for their next car. More
DISHONEST AND MISLEADING. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! We went to Southbank because they had the vehicle online we were looking for. We called the day before to make sure it was still available because we We went to Southbank because they had the vehicle online we were looking for. We called the day before to make sure it was still available because we were driving in from 2 hours away in bad weather, I did NOT leave my phone number. The next day at 10am the phone calls started. By the time we made it down to Ottawa, we had gotten 12 calls from Rebecca making sure we were coming in. While sitting with Rebecca and her manager who she called over, my husband asked what I thought of the car.I mentioned that we would have to buy snow tires since it only had summers on it at the end of Feb. Rebecca laughed and said"my dear it's February,' and continued laughing. The manager then asked what it would take to get us over to give the $250 deposit if the engine warranty would do it for us. He agreed to give it to us if we did only oil changes there. we shook on it and he took the deposit we would get back minus licensing when we picked it up. When we went into the finance sales person to sign papers, Rami first said they would not honour the warranty, then when we got upset that we were promised and that I refused to sign without it he walked out of the office and came back and said he would honour it. I asked for it in writing and was told there was no need, that the handshake was as good as it being in writing. I signed the papers, and when I called the next day before the financing paperwork was sent in to say that we were able to get the cash and did not need financing, he said that the service manager would now NOT honour the engine warranty. After dealing with the manager they agreed to lower the price of the vehicle since they were dishonest about the warranty. When we showed up to pick up our car and sign paperwork and pay for it, Rami says licencing was $99 and subtract that from our deposit it totals $151 owed back. He says he will give me $189 instead. When I questioned that something wasn't right he kept repeating do you want $151 or $189. Of course, we took the $189, I also had my phone recording it. Turns out the $189 was the difference between our money orders vs what our bill of sale (that we were not given in our paperwork) was that they lowered it to. When I emailed the manager and left voicemails to ask for my bill of sale that the insurance needed and the remainder of my deposit back ($151 owed) I was not given any response at all. I have since heard lots of similar dishonest stories about this dealer from co-workers and friends. I have contacted the Used Car Dealers Association and the Better Business Bureau (whom they do not belong to, not surprisingly they have 5 open dealings with them) and they said they will be following up. I read through the reviews prior to dealing with Southbank Dodge and saw mostly positive reviews, though that is not at all our experience at all. From sales right on through our dealing have been horrible with this dealer. When we went to pick up our car, Rebecca was completely rude but claimed she said she didn't recognize us. She had to be told by a manager to come to give us the keys to our car and to get the picture taken for the sale. Save yourself the hassle dealing with them and stay away. We thought dealing with a big dealership would make the experience a better one, we so wrong! More
