Awsome will be back. We had bought a new JL Rubicon from another dealer and landed the wrangler from xxxx. As we all know there are lemons out there. Well I managed to buy We had bought a new JL Rubicon from another dealer and landed the wrangler from xxxx. As we all know there are lemons out there. Well I managed to buy one. Tried to work with the dealership I bought it from but to no avail. After servicing the jeep 5 times for electrical problems that would shut of the vehicle off while driving and a list of other electrical problems that I will not bore you with we decided to trade our dream jeep in. Service on the last visit was very confident they had solved the problem but our confidence was lost to a point that my wife would no longer drive the wrangler and feared when I would. We tried to work with FCA they offered us preferred pricing to help with the cost but we already qualified for this through home hardware. So needless to say I would be taking a huge financial hit to trade this early (5 months old 4 weeks in service) but was in a situation where our safety and confidence out weighed the clout and joy of owning my off-road dream vehicle. Disappointed with FCA and the options I headed out to find a dealership that was sympathetic to my situation and willing to look at more then the bottom line. After a week of trying I was starting to think I was looking for the impossible. Sunday September 8th 2018 yes a Sunday I walked into Southbank kids and all and was greeted by not just a salesperson but a team of understanding people that listened to my stores took the time to hear what I wanted and were willing to stretch the budget to come to a deal with me 15 minutes after closing time on Sunday. I'm still upside down on my loan but my payments are 20 dollars bi weekly less then any other dealers offer. I'm growing to love my New Grand Cherokee its not my dream Jeep but I feel safe in it my wife feels safe in it and hopefully soon she will want to drive it. From there we went to Financing officer to finalize the deal and that's where it got sour! Paul Curry, our financial guy was ; rude, impolite and very harsh. he spoke bad about his co worker that had made the deal and all in all very unprofessional. i would not recommend keeping this employee as he made what would of been an excellent experience for my parents turn into a (good experience because of Miss Desormeau) Again, miss Desormeau was a great experience with her beautiful smile full of life. thank you Cat Desormeau for helping my Dad find the perfect truck for him. Didn't seem interested in selling me a vehicle. We went in to purchase a jeep Cherokee today. They asked us what we would be willing to pay, based on our math and research of the cherokees listed on We went in to purchase a jeep Cherokee today. They asked us what we would be willing to pay, based on our math and research of the cherokees listed on their website and other dealerships prices we gave them a reasonable number knowing they will probably talk us up a bit more and that is ok. The sales associate we spoke to must have been fairly new and wasn't able to answer any questions about the vehicle, engine, towing capacity, safety features etc but she seemed nice and was trying. Bruce stepped in and started speaking really quickly and aggressively throwing all these numbers at us that confused me. He also was disrespectful and referred to the female sales associate as "not knowing if she was coming or going" in front of us and her. We tried to explain the reason we came up with that number is based on YOUR prices online (aparently they didnt have any of those vehicles that were seen online) and what the other dealerships had quoted. Bruce responded smugly as though we could just leave and go elsewhere. He gave us a price that was 40$ per month more than the price we said we were willing to pay and honestly I was ok with his price. What I was NOT ok with is how he spoke to us. Had he said sorry we can't do your number but would you be willing to work with this number? I would have said yes can I see what I'll get for that price please. Instead we were condescended to and made to feel like we had to sell ourselves as customers instead of the dealership trying to sell a vehicle to us. I'm not sure if that is a tactic, an attempt to shift the power differential and make the most money off their customers. I understand they have to make money, that's business, but I don't understand being disrespectful, condescending and confusing, they never even asked if we were willing to pay their amount and show us a vehicle! I will be happy to spend my hard earned money elsewhere, Bruce is probably fine with that. More
