The worst place to buy your car I have gone to different dealerships in Calgary but this is the worst...they trick you with all their deals and discounts...and give you nothing...say I have gone to different dealerships in Calgary but this is the worst...they trick you with all their deals and discounts...and give you nothing...saying we have given you the best deal...its all talk and nothing else...the worst is the financial department...always record what they say and make them give it in writing especially an finance manager name cori fudge...he is one of the worst person there..its better you don't deal with him.. I know I was asking a lot and along with the help of Mike Adams exceeded my expectations. Chad went above and beyond anyone else I was dealing with and in fact when another dealership was going to match the price Chad was giving I decided to go with South Pointe because I was treated with respect and felt well cared for by everyone I dealt with. From Dave Moran in Service to Chad and Mike in Sales to Darren in Finance I feel confident these gentlemen will take care of me should I call on them for assistance in the future. Thanks guys! More

Superior customer service/sales! Thanks Chad Watts Recently I was tasked to visit all the Toyota Dealerships in and area Calgary to find a used or new Toyota Crewmax Platinum. Specific colours etc. Aft Recently I was tasked to visit all the Toyota Dealerships in and area Calgary to find a used or new Toyota Crewmax Platinum. Specific colours etc. After a less than stellar experience at Country Hills Toyota sales staff asking me the customer to go out onto the car lot take photos of any trucks we were interested in come back into the showroom and they would email me info on the trucks oh and the salesperson said make sure you get the sticker in photo would help him to get info!! That is NOT what I would call any type of customer service! When we arrived at the Southpointe Toyota we were greeted by friendly front end staff and they promptly paged Chad Watts. Chad has superior knowledge of products and Excellant customer service skills. Our overall experience was a 5 out of 5 from the test driving and options added to the truck that we choose to purchase. No sales pressure from Chad only presenting us with the several options for financing etc. Based on this recent purchase of our 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum I would be a repeat customer and would recommend to our friends and family for future purchases! I had a problem with my car, that I already guessed from a simple google search. but just needed a professional opinion. I was explicitly told by Canadian tire, and another Toyota dealership, that this inspection with those symptoms would be a half an hour inspection and for only $60 to $69. and when I called south pointe Toyota dealership and told them that, I was again told that this is easy and shouldn't take more than half an hour. So I chose South pointe only because they were the nearest and not much of a difference in price. But guess what! when they were done, told me what's wrong, and they don't have the needed part and would take them 2 weeks to order it. (which is not even reasonable to wait all that much when other places would get me that part the next day)...it is of course now a 1 hour inspection for $150!!! and when told we're not happy with that situation, their manager offered it to be $75 but I would have to wait all that long and let them fix it. Which is a complete joke. Totally unprofessional! I am very unhappy about the whole misleading situation from a dealership and to only get $75 more out of a customer, they totally lost my business and would definitely not recommend them to anyone I know. More

I was told by their Finance dept, that if I submitted my "Hail Claim Cheque" to Toyota Credit for signing, they would immediately send me my money. Instead, they kept my $5000 without my signature on the cheque (fraudulent )and applied it to my lease. It was my choice to not repair my hail damage as I am buying out my car. I paid my $250 deductible to my Insurance Co. so I could use the $$$ to do home repairs. When I met with a Salesman on the advice of the manager, I was encouraged to buy another new car which would cost me more money yet...not even close to a solution to the problem at hand! They could have supported me with Toyota Credit to get my money back for me...or at the least: given me a substantial Gas Card to keep me as a Happy Customer and Re-imburse me for their Mistake. It's Very disappointing not to have any support after Purchasing a Brand New Toyota! The Manager did not even take the time to speak with me himself. More
False "Lifetime" Oil Changes Caution I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from South Pointe just over a year ago. I went in just to price one out and walked out with one on the promise that I woul I purchased a Toyota Tacoma from South Pointe just over a year ago. I went in just to price one out and walked out with one on the promise that I would be provided with "lifetime oil changes". Upon my 4th oil change they wanted to a brake pad cleaning and when I told them that I did not need my brake pads cleaned because of low KM I was then told that it would void the lifetime oil changes and I would have to pay for my oil change. The service manager was who I was speaking with, so after I got fairly angry that they would void the lifetime oil changes he told that the salesmen, on a regular basis, leave out that when you sign up for lifetime oil changes, you are instantly agreeing to "mandatory maintenance" check ups that in the long wrong would end up costing me way more then just getting my oil changed and paying for it. He admitted that I would save money just taking my truck to any mechanic and paying for an oil change. Considering the "lifetime oil changes" was a huge selling feature, it is disappointing that it is a huge scam that the salesmen conveniently leave out the maintenance fees to make a sale. I will no longer be recommending South Pointe Toyota to friends and family. After reading other reviews I now know that I am not the only one to have fallen for this trick. More
